When I was a kid, my Dad would take us trail riding up in the Rockies (we lived north of Denver) for days and days. It was on one particular trip that I saw people hiking the Continental Divide Trail [that we were on] and I told my Dad that I wanted to hike it, not ride it. Now I wanna run it. Jeesh!!!!!

You are going to have a blast- and the scenery is IMHO, is the best there is. Have fun Thor!!!!!!

Thanks, Tammy!

You know, the route we take supposedly crosses the Continental Divide. Perhaps I'll stop for a picture there. And hey, after the event, Heather and I will shoot up north of Denver to explore that area. Either way, very fond memories for you with your dad doing things like that with you!

Thanks again for the good words and letting me share this awesome experience.

Thanks, Yoshi! Very excited. I love going into events such as this where you know before you even toe the starting line that it will be one in which you will never forget. My memory bank always has room for stuff like this. Push that comfort zone, that's what it's all about, and that's when the richer experiences are typically had.
