18 miles of logging roads in Trinidad yesterday. Beautiful area that I absolutely will not run in by myself. Very much in the wilds of Humboldt County with nobody for miles, except 4-legged creatures much larger and stronger than me that wouldn't hesitate a moment to make me their dinner.

Unfortunately, the legs were very tired and heavy, and my buddy ended up totally and completely nauseated when she took a salt on an empty stomach, thus reducing us to walking for 2+ miles of the last 5, but that's okay.

Followed that up with 10 road miles in the late morning, trying to dodge rain storms.

Our tree has been up since right after Thanksgiving, but, alas, I have no photos. And I am SO ready for it to go . . . a . . . way! Soon! Soon!
