.....plays UCLA which is cool because I'm off is that banana dude goofy looking or what? Let's see it again.......hahahaha!!!!!!!!

Ok...

The Bruins do have a punchers chance but it will take some Oregon turnovers/penalties. Things that can/do happen. All things being equal we will see what the Ducks are number one in the polls and number two in the BCS which is bull. Oregon has had a few great NFLers...

Dan Fouts

Mel Renfro

Bobby "Ahmad Rashad" Moore

UCLA has had a ton of NFLers but none any better than those I mentioned for Oregon. As I type this I can't help but see that funky banana and that goofy ass look on it's face. Who in the hell would post something that lame?

I believe Joey Harrington would have been a good NFL quarterback with another team. Being drafted by the Matt Millen Lions is the kiss of death for many an NFL career. By the time he left the Lions he had already been Lionized (educated on how to lose). Hopefully the latest iteration of management and coaching staff can change that culture, but it's like trying to turn around an aircraft carrier in a bathtub.

I saw Harrington play many times while at Oregon, I never got the impression he'd be a stud NFL QB. Not saying he couldn't have been a starter and did more than he did with another team but a pro bowler......nope!

my prediction: Oregon rolls.

Tuesday Morning Quarterback on espn.com did a really nice bit on the Oregon offense a week ago. (not this Tuesday, but the Tuesday before)

Very informative.

When teams play Oregon, even if they play well and take the lead early, it's not safe, they just keep coming.

The tough part for them is when they play a really great defensive team, with alot of speed on that side of the ball.

I can't disagree about what the Ducks can do on offense. They are also the number one ranked D in the land. UCLA is ranked a lowly....99th. They do have a couple good backs in Jonathan Franklin and Derrick Coleman, that's about it. It will take a less than excited Oregon team vs a stok..........hmmmm?........you're right Oregon should role!

It was actually a musing on how well those fuckers can move down the field with webbed feet. Check yer pocket translator!

Dave Wilcox and Gary Zimmerman were pretty good, too.

It should be a fun game. Neuhiesal hates Oregon and we've been a big recruiting foe in SoCal so he'll have them going all out.

Here's what to watch for when teams play Oregon: Sometime in the 2nd or 3rd quarter does the opposing defense start to barely get set before the snap? Does someone go down during an Oregon drive with a "cramp", halting play but then come back in on the next play? If so, they are gassed and about to get crushed. The "cramp" is usually a team captain or some will speculate a player that has been instructed to take a dive. Oregon's football team has speed, true, but more importantly its the distance runner endurance. If the opposing team is gassed they are backpedaling for the rest of the game.

Rain is expected during the 2nd half and that could also play a role tonight.

 Good stuff!

Oregon simply has it all. They are physical and they are fast. They don't make the stupid mistake often and play hard. If any team is used to rain....Hawaii and Oregon.

Brutey how do you see USC-Oregon?

Well since it's the only ball game on tonight........hmmmmm? I do remember a 40 point underdog in Washington beating USC so....

USC will be at home with 14 days to prepare. They do have team speed. Robert Woods their freshman receiver is looking like Michael Williams (remember his USC days) I can see the Trojans hanging tough "if" they come to play and don't turn it over. I don't think the talent level is in favor of Oregon all that much. USC has players. But......Oregon has proven they can beat USC because they have two of the last three seasons.

Gee, I've been calling you Brutey for years on CR and CH. I thought it was a nice combo of Brutality combined with a sensitive ear for good music.

As a big Boise State fan...originally as a bit of a joke back about 5 years ago, I'm still hoping for a Boise State-Oklahoma matchup for the BCS Championship so I'm going to need an Oregon loss(along with a few others) and I only see the USC game as the likely opportunity.

Wow, I never thought Brutey could be so cool, ok man...Brutey

Let's see...

Oklahoma has..Missouri which could be tought especially at their house. Then there's Oklahoma State in the final game once again at their house. Oklahoma could lose one of those games. Boise State might have some trouble with Nevada on the road but I kinda doubt it. They are the only decent team left on their schedule. Yes Oregon could lose to USC it wouldn't be a huge shock. I do doubt it but....hmmmm? If the Ducks do get by USC it should be clear sailing.

Let me add...

As we know every once in awhile the better team shows up flatter than a pancake for some unknown reason. That could happen to anyone.
