So, some of you know I've signed up to run the Flying Pig Marathon this weekend. My original goal was a 3:40 PR, and I'm capable speed-wise of running that... the problem I have right now is endurance. My busy racing schedule and recent vacations have combined to help me miss my last few long runs. So, my last long run was 16.5 miles about 6 weeks ago, and my last 20 mile day was 2 months ago. I've averaged about 30-35 MPW the last 6 weeks, but no long runs. I have, however, raced 4 of the last 6 weekends (3 15k trail runs, and a half marathon).

I know I can finish the marathon, but may have to walk a substantial portion, and I'm no longer targeting a PR (current PR is 3:58). But the question is this: should I, for $10, drop down to the half and finish comfortably, or hang on to the full and get very uncomfortable? WWYD?
