<p>Morning all.  Ran 6.75 miles this morning.  Plans include 20 mile bike ride and another 4.25 miles running tonight with a group.</p>

<p>Got one text so far from DW in Alaska.   I didn't sleep so well last night.   :)</p>

<p>Thanks HappyFeat. - I actually like being alone much of the time.  But it's a whole lot easier when my wife is close by.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>103 index outside with not a cloud in the sky and only a slight breeze.  I've never tried to fry and egg on the sidewalk but......................</p>
<p> </p>
<p>dw was in Ketchikan, AK yesterday.  She had on layers plus rain jacket and the ground looks wet....</p>

<p>Yes, there is rain in the NE too. I wish I could sand you some, ks. I think we're cut from the same cloth.. I enjoy being alone with DW nearby too.</p>

<p>8 miles in heavy overcast, cool temps. Really enjoyable run today. ~ 8:29 pace.</p>

<p>To get ready for my trail race saturday, I tried to find every hill I could and ran on the grass beside the road most of the time. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Ended up with 10.11 miles in 75:27 for a shade under 7:30 pace.  I would love to run that pace on the trails for a half marathon but I think I will be closer to 7:45-8:00.</p>
<p>It's supposed to be rocky and treacherous like the two I ran in the spring.</p>

<p>tonights workout was 22 mile bike ride followed by 2.75 moh</p>
