Hmmm, I don't have much by way of fun scheduled for today, you?
 
Lots of work for me, but hopefully something will pop up. My boys are on Spring Break this week and I am hoping to take at least one day off, but it will have to be later in the week.

Sorta fun: After work, I'm planning on dragging out my patio planter stuff and water hoses. Not that I have figured out what exactly I'm going to plant, but I'm excited to go ahead and get stuff into place, and I'll probably go flower and (for the yard - tomato) shopping this weekend.

Fun: Kansas won last night and advances to the Sweet Sixteen ...they've been there a lot but have also been beat in the 2nd round way too many times recently. 
Fun: 50K is just 6 sleeps away!

Where is the Fool's Run 50K? It's next weekend, right? We're looking at going to Ohio for some water park fun next weekend and I'm trying to figure out if we'll be close enough for me to make a cheering section appearance.

Good morning folks ( or now due to the time change whats left of the morning for you right coasters lol )
 
Well we are following suit weather wise here in the desert as some of you are. It was up to 90 a week or so ago, today showers and a high of 63. Ill take it. Itll be 90 or above again soon enough
 
Fun: Thinking back to the fact I saw Tiffanie ( LSU Fan Tiff not the singer lol ) last week in Vegas
 
Not Fun: At work by myself and now having to cover two offices today

Good, thanks! People are saying the show is very good. And that wig (on the woman seated in the very 70s pant suit) is finally under control! I've had to mess with it every night...and wigs just are NOT my thing.

T. I. R. E. D. I got up extra early to take my mom to the airport and then went straight to work. Teaching 2 classes and a 2 hour meeting has put me over the edge. Sadly, I have more to do before the end of the day.

That's pretty cool Moe. I'm going to read the article now.
 
They were one of my favorite bands as an 80s teen. Ironically I first saw them at their lowest point with only two original members (Simon and Nick) in 1998 when they were touring casinos and playing to about a thousand people per show. Then eight years later in 2005 I saw the original lineup reunited on a big nationwide tour. Boy talk about the difference in two tours.....

Maples, I loved them too in the 1980s. Moe that reminds me of a backstage clip on their reunion dvd from 2003. It shows John Taylor walking down a hallway before a show and two hot young ladies walk up to him. They start hitting on him and offering room keys, etc. He smiles at them and declines. They walk away and the camera zooms to his face where he is biting his lip. Then he turns to the camera and says "you gotta be a bloody saint these days!" As he starts to walk away the camera pans out to show John holding his young son's hand. They begin to walk on down the hallway. John's reaction was priceless. LOL
 
I read some of the reviews on Amazon.com about that book. It seems like a fun read for any "40 something". heh I still don't think I have figured out the answers to many of those teen age questions LOL

I got to hang out with Lloyd for a couple hours yesterday afternoon for the mug hand off. He is SO excited about this weekend. It's fun to see.

Funny: I changed clothes at work to go to yoga. Just shorts and a tshirt, no big deal. I walked back to my desk to get the rest of my stuff and shut down my computer, and Kim (Danish guy next to me) and Chris (I'm not entirely sure what he does) were standing there, and when they realized what I was wearing - "WHOA."

Ok, so you could see my legs from mid-thigh down, but jeez. I was completely covered. Loose clothing. Nothing WHOA worthy.
