It is lightly snowing here. It's not really accumulating other than a little bit on the bushes and grass, but it's definitely more than just flurries. Helloooo December. <img alt="rolleyes.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/rolleyes.gif"> Actually, I don't mind so much since it is the 1st time I have seen snow here this year, but my hands are now aching.

It's 61 here currently, but the temp is supposed to drop throughout the day and the high is 30 for the rest of the week. <img alt="huh.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/huh.gif" style="width:15px;height:15px;">
 
But at least it will put me in the mood for Christmas decorating.
 
I made an awesome soup for dinner last night. Italian sausage and tortellini. Oh my goodness, it was delicious!

I picked up a little lit tree for our front step yesterday. Put it together and plugged it in to see how it looked. Now Lena and Evelyn don't seem to want me to put it outside. I guess I'll have to put the big one up soon for them!
 
The other day I gave my nephew a honeycrisp apple and he loved it. He says to me afterwards, "I'll have to get mommy to pick up some of them honey garlic apples at the store!" hee hee!

Just had a very difficult Come To Jesus meeting with a student. I hate that. I have to have it 2 more times with different ones later. 
 
The "in the ditch" count this morning = 2. 1 was a spin out the other was actually flipped on its side. Love the first snow.

Haha. I thought they were aliens too at first - was confused when Kath was asked if there were tails. Then I got it.

Interview re GOTR went well this morning. And right before it, I ran into a neighbor that told me her friend was just gushing to her how awesome our program was.

Yeah, good stuff. I'll post a link when the story gets published next Thursday. Hopefully it is a good write-up.
 
Now it is time for me to get cracking here at work.

Hi all - got all college-like yesterday doing some research and writing up a report on my findings. Kind of a nice change of pace, but it made a busy work day even more busy and didn't allow me to get a whole lot of other stuff done.
 
The heater is supposed to work now...unfortunately, can't figure out how to program the thing to click on at night <img alt="help.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/help.gif" style="width:23px;height:15px;"> What happened to the good old days of off & on? Thus it was another freezy kinda' night under the covers.
 
I guess it is all about perceptions, Kath - I saw those things at your house and thought immediately mice. Didn't see the aliens at all prior to you mentioning it
 
Wippy - you and Kris' post now has got "Let's Hear It For The Boy" earworming through my brain. BTW, bring your galoshes - it's supposed to be rainy from late Wed. into the weekend (and let me know if you wanna' meet up also.)

I went to a different post office this morning to ship some stuff and didn't have to wait in line at all. (Compared to the PO by my house which always has 10 people in line.)
