If he does it again vs the Patriots, Moses parting the Red Sea will pale in comparsion. The media (not just sports media) will be freaking out. A cat will a subpar arm but an over zealous faith in God winning NFL games.....just because he can. I'll confess, I'm more jacked for this game than any NFL game this season, yep....Tim Tebow. Football people (human nature) are dying to..."see, he's not all that".

Ok, let's have some music.

I get it that he's a Christian. I"m a Christian and I've had enough. His Tebowing is no longer a private tribute. All eyes are off of God and on Tebow. Wrong, wrong, wrong. I have a buddy who will raise his hand and look upward as he crosses the finish line. Those that know him know he's thanking God for the gift He has given him. Not this drawn out "Hey! Look at me!!!"

As we know his upbringing was all about religious beliefs. Yes one of those lives where everything is.."thank you Jesus"..."must have been the work of the Devil". I do believe he's doing what he does all alone. I don't think he's beefing it up for the media. On a deserted island he's still kneeling in the sand.....

What it is is that we/media just aren't used to it at the NFL level. We are used to stupid dances and big mouth but dumb wide receivers. Right now we are starting to hear/read...."is God a Denver Bronco fan?" With a lot hoping like hell that the Pats put an end to it. As we know the last game is all that matters in the NFL. Hell, we see..."he sucks"...to..."great QB"... in the same game, that's how fickle it gets.

I'm getting a kick out of it, it is unique.

He seems pretty genuine. When Urlacher sarcastically called him "a pretty good running back," Tebow responded graciously that it was quite a compliment coming from a great player. He doesn't get into the trash talk and doesn't let it bother him.

As for his performance, too much is made of his low completion percentage. He does a lot of other things well. He leads. He's clutch when it counts. And perhaps most importantly, he doesn't turn it over. The rushing ability is a bonus -- something that's likely to diminish as he takes more hits (and gets better as a pure passer).

I'm sure there are a lot of people waiting for him to fall on his face against New England. I hear ya when you say it's all about what you did in the last game, but this is still a second-year player. He will make mistakes.

People desperately want Tim Tebow to fail. I think he's genuine and I think he is a winner.

That's enough for people to hate him.

Today's game will be interesting. If there is another "miracle" God may well have changed his team from Notre Dame to Denver.

...and then obce they call themselves God's team I can hate them. :)

The fact he doesn't make that...the big mistake at the worst possible time....is a biggie. Like you said he doesn't get into the trash talk or let things bug him. What it is is that his religious beliefs are showing everyone just how cool that can be compared to what we see from others.

Yep, you nailed it. A lot of people especialy those..."God...bah humbug"...ers....are dying to see the Pats put an end to it. If they do.....(the Pats are in a road/road situation vs a Broncos team home again, big advantage Denver) smiles all around. If Tebow pulls it off again vs a quality team, yep God is off the Fighting Irish.

Turnovers killed it for the Broncos. You can't give Brady that many chances. Like you alluded to Tebow did ok, he didn't hurt his mini legend.

The media adores Notre Dame, as far as they are concerned Knute Rockne is still trying to win one for....The Gipper.

I highly respect Tebow but I agree whole heartedly with the below quote. He has become a bit too vain IMHO.
