Morning, Ali...and all those who follow.

MUCH better rehearsal last night. I did work on adjusting my attitude before I went which was helpful. I also had supper at home which is good. Last couple nights too.

best of all...no rehearsal tonight for me...but DH will be out. I plan to park myself on the couch and do nothing.

off to work!

Morning all!

Have fun relaxin' tonight Maureen!

This night was THE BEST shift I've ever had. Two sweet quiet easy little boys to take care of and lst level 2 admit- guess what? No admit! I finished all my yearly CAI's- those annoying yearly computer test we have to take- was asked by my parents tonight to sign up for their baby and be his night primary. Timing was perfect, my last primary was discharged today, this one is an LSU fan in the making too, so I said okay! It was a bittersweet moment walking in and seeing my primary that left today gone. His little bay was empty and cleaned. I had to blink a couple of times to keep it together. The day nurse saw me just looking at it when I walked in and told me mom said you'd be sad. I knew he was going home and I'm glad he is there, but I will miss him a ton! He's been my baby the last few weeks. Mom even joked the other night when she was talking to him and he was looking at me that I wasn't his mommy! We both smiled at that moment. I'm just glad I know his family is amazing, he's going to be well taken care of and very loved. When the day nurse asked me if I'd been spoiling him cause I was rocking him when he came in, I said of course!!

When I walked over to fill out some paperwork for my new primary one of my co-workers said you need to check the breakroom there's something in there for you. I was surprised to see this sweet thank-you card from my first primary's parents (My Griff) and an angel of healing figurine. Wow, I just wasn't expecting that, it was very sweet of them.

Planning to go see DD2's little Easter parade at her pre-school this morning, should be cute.

Dinner tonight with a group of co-workers, can't wait to see them while they're drinkin' This will be the first time I've hung out with them outside of work other than charity stuff.

Hope everyone has a good day!

What a nice surprise, Tiff! You so deserve it!

Cus...sorry..."Living on the DL" = living on the down low = men who are in relationships with women but are having sex with men on the side. This is how you know I'm not a real runner...DL didn't automatically register for me as disabled Hope your leg is getting stronger!

I am going to post a thread here in the 30s just as soon as I can write it. Nice of you to remember I mentioned it last night.

I'm off work today thank goodness. I just needed a day for myself. Gonna clean up around the house and then get my run completed. Dunno might even get a haircut. You know, just normal stuff you need to do that work and life sometimes keep you from doing when you would like- such as post on kr all day. hehe

Today I might watch some hoops.

More to come today as it develops. I have to get started on my thread.......

Tiff, I was really confused about the "Fam" part when I read this...cuz my parents and Biah-twin are back East. Until I re-read my original post...."my kids" are ~40 1st-6th graders that I hang out with on Saturdays. They have all kinds of germs and I'm a very tactile affection-giver so...you know how that goes But thanks! I think it was a short-lived virus deal; all I've got it a tiny cough left.

Morning!

Still dealing with a cold, but it's not getting worse, so I'm happy about that. I'm in the very bizarre, very vivid dream phase of pregnancy. It needs to stop. Now.

Ok, catching up...

HH - great news on your dad!

Korbels - I can see DD doing that...sounds like the teacher handled it well. It will probably be forgotten sooner than you think

Theia - hope the bad streak ends NOW!

Beaker -congrats on getting out of work! Are you on any other restrictions, or just off work?

I'm probably forgetting something...I should have taken notes!

Happy Thursday to everyone. I'll check back in a bit.
Tiff, on behalf of parents everywhere, I thank you for your dedication to the babies. Thanks goodness mine didn't need a special nursery, but some of my nieces did and I know how crucial a kind and dedicated nurse is.
