Hola.

Time for me to get back on the running train. I skipped my usual Tuesday run for concerns about too much fatigue when the week after Philly I ran 22 and a half miles, and I've got a 10K coming up this weekend. I took that rest in spite of how tempting it was to go out, with just a few miles more needed to set a new monthly mileage record.

But you always need to remember not to let yourself get governed by the numbers. The numbers are a result of your decisions and in that view should always remain secondary to the needs of rest and staying healthy.

My legs feel really good this morning too. So maybe I made the right call there. Of course, maybe I'll go out this afternoon and have Run of Suck, but hey, that happens. It'll just feel good and right again to run. I felt weird without having the run on Tuesday.
