My week is insane! It should look like this:

M: rest

T: 11 easy (done)

W: 12 with 4x1200m intervals (ouch - done)

R: 6 recovery (done)

F: 15 easy

Sa: 6 recovery

Sun: 21

I am actually going to try to fit 4 recovery miles in tonight before GOTR if I can work it. That will get me to 75 miles for the week - I place I have never been before. Wish me luck! I need it!!

Good luck ramping back up. I think you are smart to take it easy given how aggressive the schedule is.
Woot! I'm in the same boat as you. I'm feeling really strong and think that my training has hit a new level. Last week was 66.2 miles for me and that is clost to a mileage PR. I'm at 260 for the month and that's a mileage PR. Our weeks are similiar too:

m - rest

tues - 7.5 miles w 5 x 1200m (at 6:30 pace or better)

wed - 13.1 easy

today: 16 easy (this will be my long run for the week)

f - 5 ez

s - 3 -4 ez

sun - race HM + warm up/cool down. Shooting for sub 1:34.

Then just one more monster week and it's taper time for Flying Pig. I hope we get good weather.

RIL - you're gonna knock it out of the park. I'm excited for your race.
