Oh my gosh, Thor only ran an easy 4 miles, what's up wit that?

As for me:

AM: 3,400m en el agua. 500m wu, 4 x 100 drills, 6 x (50+100+150) @20 sec, 4 x 100 drills, 300 cd. I felt really good today, compared to the past couple weeks in the pool. I was able to do some negative splits and felt faster in the water thanks to better technique and not by trying to swim harder.

PM: Scheduled 1.5 hours on the bike, which means down in the basement on the trainer. I am hoping I can do this when I get home from work and not after the girls go to bed. I hate finishing up my ride at 9:30PM and then having to get up at 4:20AM the next morning.

Still waiing to hear news for the job front. My fingers will remain crossed until I hear something. Have a super day everyone!

Was supposed to get up and run 8 this morning, but nothing doing. So...dunno. I brought my run stuff to work, but 8 is a bit much for a lunchtime escape. We'll see. I also have a bike commute home this evening. If I do both, I'll be at 8 hours of training so far this week. That makes me tired.

Swim:

WU: 400swim/300pull/200kick

MS: 2 x (4 x 75 as 50drill/25 swim. Drills were one arm, one arm, shark fin catch up, finger tip drag catch up)

6 x 125 on 2:20 as 100 smooth at 1:40pace, then 25 sprint

CD: 200 pull

Later I have a 40minute pylometric routine to go through then stretch for 15 minutes. I'll do that one in the basement.

Just do it peeps!

2400y at masters swim this morning. Nothing too exciting. Had to do some stuff other than free. Had to laugh when the guy in the lane next to mine did sidestroke and elementary backstroke as a joke as the practice went on...coach told me I was only allowed to use "competition strokes." Phooey.

A bit over 5m...again on the treadmill. Fortunately I think I figured out why the darn thing kept stopping yesterday - the safety clip was in upside down. Who knew!

2000 in the pool. Decided that the only way I could tolerate the 1 x 1500 on my schedule was to swim it as a race-pace baseline. 29:28 later, I am a) super happy, and b) wrecked. apparently the swim clinic is working.

followed that with my pilates class - chair workout tonight. am limp, soggy, day old toast.
