Lynden - maybe you should try a few of these to loosen up your legs:

Sal - you, Storm and your family have been on my mind so much these last few days. In fact, you were about the first thing I thought of when I woke up. I know how much we love our two dogs and just can't imagine the gamut of emotions you all are feeling. Our son is an only child and his two dogs are basically his siblings. I know he'll be absolutely devastated when we do lose them. I know you are making hard decisions right now and it's so hard to see our pet family go through something like this. Just know you are in my thoughts.

Nice new ride Hally!! I never heard of the "penny" superstition before. But hey - why not!

It's nice to see some new yet familiar faces . . . errr, handles, here - Roch, Anach . . .

Happy Birthday to your son, Gin!

No run for me today, but will get in my planks and crunches this evening.

Last night, I was looking through a cookbook and found a recipe for apple, cranberry crisp. I have leftover cranberry relish I made from T'gvg. The relish I made was just cranberries, diced apples, cinnamon and brown sugar, which is basically the base for this crisp, so I'll just dice up some more apples and throw in more cinnamon and make up this crisp. It sounded so yummy. Also found a recipe for a beef-barley soup. That sounded like a good comfort food for the weekend also - and get some nice rustic type bread to go with it. I plan on making it mostly veggie-barley though, but will throw in enough beef to satisfy my meat eating husband. And I have a recipe for Cinnabon rolls, so feel like making those this weekend too. Guess I better make sure and do my long run on Saturday if I plan on eating all that this weekend!
