7.5 very sticky miles this morning. I tried to push it a bit and came in under an hour. This is the first time I've run before work on back to back days.

Have great days everyone!

rhody, as hard as getting up and out can be that early, it's so nice to have the workout in and get that energy boost for the day.

I was an early bird this morning, too: Taught spinning at 5:45 a.m. I sure kicked my own butt so hopefully the students got a good workout, too. I was pouring sweat. After class I went up and ran for 20 minutes on the treadmill easy ~2.25 miles.

So I guess I did a brick workout today!

Well tonight is 3 or 4 400s that I will just do at race pace so 1:20. Not anything harder than that for me tonight, then maybe a quick jog. Tomorrow is complete rest for Saturday. I hope this mini-taper helps this tired feeling go away.

In the summer morning workouts are my only chance for something quality with it usually being in the high 80s when I'm on break for work, and I don't think'd I have the energy for a workout by nighttime. Nice job you 2!

Have a great day everyone!

No kidding about the humidity. My run turned into a sweaty mess. I ran 8 easy miles around the nearby park. I've got a race on Saturday and I'd much prefer cooler (and less humid) conditions.

Have a good one.

Off day from work today. Did some errands, then bought some new Mizuno Inspires and tried them out on the VCM course:

11.6 miles EZ. 90 degrees, sunny, humid and calm. 8:37 pace, so I guess I'm making progress because I felt slower than that.

Nope sorry, we never head that far away...we usually stay within the conference/county. Also we have our Conference meet on Saturday and I'm guessing that's when that invite is?

Easy practice with 3 400s that I decided to take a bit easier and run at 3200 pace. 1:21, 1:21, and 1:19. Hoping to get an easy run in later, but may not since the whole shoe issue, so maybe some indoor biking.

Hi all,

The hot stuff continues today. We were over 90 degrees for a time today. Struggled a bit with the heat.

Not sure I'll get my run in tomorrow, I have to go to my nephew's confirmation. Maybe I can get it in tomorrow night after the confirmation.

Ok. Add two uninspired miles in 21:53. This is turning out to be a tough week.

Thunderstorms and one hour on ye olde treadmill. My knee that I fell and scraped on Tuesday was bothering me more than I realized.

Ran for the first time today since Mid-March. I think (i.e. hope) that my stress fracture has finally healed. It's a little sore right now - but nothing that I can't handle. Ran 3 miles and actually ran into one of my good friends while I was running - which is always a plus. It was MUCH more humid outside than I was expecting. Then tonight, my volleyball team had 1.5 hr practice. We're not any good - that's why we practice

Nice Giggly, way to go. Baby steps.

Tonight was very pleasant, yet humid out. About 75F at 6pm.

Cycled 9mi to the trailhead, ran 6.5mi on trails, then cycled (the long way) home 12mi (21mi total.)

Recovery going faster than expected, which bodes well since there is little remaining time. Goal race in 5.5 weeks.

Friday planned rest day.

{{{altoid's knee}}} I hope it heals soon!

I tried to run 5 miles yesterday, but the heat, humidity and a blister on my littlest toe helped me walk. A lot. I feel bad about that, but the pain of the blister was rather bad. I think it's just in the wrong place. What's the foot book again? I think I need it.
