OK, I'll start...

A beautiful morning to run 38F, overcast and I was very comfortably dressed this morning....I fixed my shoelaces and after shrugging off some foot pain during the first mile, all seemed well by the end of the run.

10.03 miles of hills @ 8:57 pace.

Good runs to all today.

I dunno, that just sounded oddly ironic, ya know?

Gearing up for this morning's yoga-fest: hour teaching, hour and a half taking, half hour demo/interview [gulp!]. Hope to get a run in this afternoon as well.

Good runs all!

3 slow recovery miles at 10:06 min/mile pace, Avg HR 132. I feel like carp from this cold and probably should have bagged it altogether. But I wanted to get in a few miles to keep the legs loose just in case I feel better by Sunday. (Doubtful) Besides I bagged yesterday and my VRAA Team is hunting me down.

Nice running & workouts, folks. Nice merging, hally

Good luck today, OM!

Bill, I hope you feel better soon.

No running here, but I did an hour of other exercise... even some pushups.

We got the news last night that a dear neighbor friend had a heart attack and passed away last night. She was probably in her early 60s. Another reminder to be grateful for today and to make the most of it.

ETA: ksrunr, those are great pictures of you and DW. If that's her grimace, she must have a knockout smile.

Aargh - I hope you do feel better by Sunday, Bill. Maybe a miraculous recovery followed by a PR are in order. You've certainly worked hard enough for it.

I found that riding a stationary bike at the rec center actually made my slightly aching leg feel better, so I did more of that in addition to strength exercises this morning. I'm hoping to get through this quickly, as I'm already suffering running withdrawal symptoms.

I hope everyone enjoys the "Spirit of the Marathon" movie tonight. I'm hoping it plays at a closer theater when they re-show it in February.

Good morning everyone. It's cold here but not freezing (around 25). Today I did 30 mins elliptical, 10 mins rowing, and 10 mins free weights. A little stretching, and I'm ready to rock & roll.

DH and I are thinking of seeing the movie "Juno" tonight. Tomorrow is DH's grandson's first birthday so the weekend is being taken over largely by natal festivities.

Bill, I hope you feel better soon!

Good morning.

Only working a 1/2 day so I can catch up on some household chores plus run and go to yoga. This morning, I tried to shovel MrC's side of the driveway so he can pull into the garage tonight (guilt for cursing him the other night) but it is more work than my elbow will tolerate. Feels like someone added cement to the snow as it is unbelievably hard and heavy.

Nice to see Ksrunr's Disney photos. And all this time I thought he looked like a Kansas cheeken but he's really a handsome guy. And the missus is beautiful. I hope you framed that photo of the two of you.

Esther, enjoy your yogathon. I can think of worse things to do (i.e. shoveling snow)

Also missing GLIDEGAL and MrsLabD... and where's runningbehind? Or have I just missed her posts in my haste to read everything?

As Millbot reminds us with his sad news,

Enjoy your day, Please.

Good morning.

I got in 8 miles on the TM last night in 1:12:00. Nothing spectacular, but I trashed a toenail while doing it. That's the second one in two weeks. Hate it when that happens, but I guess there's worse injuries.

I'm working a 1/2 day also like Choovie . . . my group manager is having our holiday luncheon today at a near by restaurant so I figured I'd work from home after getting the kids off to school and getting in on the TM.

6.5 miles on the TM. A total of 4 slow miles running and 2.5 miles walking. Guess I'd better get to work soon!
