Happy Thursday, all. I'm taking another day off and icing my Achilles. It's kind of fun after a while.

Good cold morning to all. It was 6 degrees when I left the house this morning! Brrrrrr.....

I went to the gym and did 35 mins on the elliptical and 15 mins stretching. Nice way to start the day. Now for a nice cuppa Dunkin Donuts and I'm all set!

Have a great day, everyone. Looking forward to the VRAA6 starting tomorrow.

Good morning guys,

I ran last night, my plan is to run tonight again just to mix things up a little...
Avoiding the cold temps in the early AM is also secondary motivation...

Good runs to everyone today

I'm hoping to get home this afternoon before the skies open up here in California and put in a good 3-4 miler. It would be perfect to get a run in while it is lightly raining, it's predicted to pour down for 3 or 4 days. I'm ready with the TM if I have to.

Good morning everyone!

9 degrees for my run this morning. I kept seeing this weird thing by the side of my eye and realized it was frozen tears! At least the sun was out.

I did 8 miles w/4 @ HMP (sort of). My 4 faster miles were this: 7:35 (oops!), 8:07, 8:10 & 8:14. My HMP is about 7:55. I guess my Dec. low mileage is coming back to haunt me.

I was supposed to do a small race this weekend but since it's only a 3 miler I think I'll bag it for a longer run instead.

My hat off to all those early morning runners. It's one thing to get up early but to add darkness AND cold to that, well it takes a certain toughness to keep motivated for that!

mill, I'll be your ice partner today. I don't think this is a tear; possibly a strain. Mild pain going down steps and walking. I brought my ACE ice pad to school today and will use it. Won't run again until there's no pain walking.

Good morning frends. I sending warm hugs to Millbot and FF as they are being so good icing and taking time off from running to take care of their ailments. Good job guys.

A headche Lynden? perhaps a bit dehydrated, that has happened to me before during runs when I had not enough to drink prior to the run (I know some of you are thinking...or too much to drink...but I am not going there)

I am followign Peter's footstep and delaying my run until the evening. My body is still pretty wiped out after last night's tempo. I hope to do some walking during lunch.

5 eze miles on the TM during lunch. Flurries of snow ruined my hairdo today. Oh well...sometimes beauty and training do not go hand in hand. I will re-aply my make up nonetheless.

Good Morning Kicksters!

Susan, you and I must be in the same neighborhood. 6F out this morning, so I drove to the gym and ran 8 miles on the TM: 1:06:15 (8:17 pace).

Gin, nice splits!

Way to go Econo!

Good runs to all,

Hey, Gin, you almost made the "more miles than degrees" club (something I'll probably never do).

Yea, Econo! Choovie, can I bring my skinny skis and join you? I wish. I just don't have much use for them. Heal, all ye that are ailing. I got an interesting package in the mail yesterday-vitamins & such from Nutrilite, one of the sponsors of the OC marathon going on in southern California. Guess I'm supposed to stop by their booth at the Expo for a free gift. So today I'm taking the multivitamin/multimineral/phytonutrient-6 pills all together. I'm sure it'll make a huge difference in my run later. Think I'll do 10k. I'll take off early since I came in early and worked through lunch.

It's still -5 here (~25 miles west of Chicago). So the whole population can claim "more miles than degrees!!!"

I did 3 miles on the treadmill this morning, will add 6 tonight. Inside. The good news is that they're forecasting 55 on Sunday. The bad news is they are also calling for wind and rain.
