10.1 miles at 5:30am in 1:29:52 (8:53). It was 70 degrees with 80% humidity. Dewpoint was so high I felt like I was swimming! But overall a good, steady paced run. Drank 16oz of water and ate a Gu too. I'm loving my fuel belt these days!

Careful out there later in the Northeast, the storms are supposed to be crazy!
What a difference a day makes! Temp dropped from 20 yesterday to 5 today. RH was lower too, as N winds forced the jet stream Southward. The result was a great 8 mile run, with 3 of them at threshold (8:20) sandwiched between a 2 mile warmup and a 3 mile cooldown. The cooler weather is supposed to hang around, so I should get 3 more good runs in before heading West to the mountains again.
Went 3 miles yesterday in 95F in the sun. Bleh. I walked .3 of that after the first 2 miles. Then finished running. I don't think it does me any good to run on days like that. Today is supposed to be much cooler, by about 15F Woo!
day four of no-run roation week:
20 easy miles on the roadbike...great morning!

late afternoon addition:
mowed the yard...thank goodness the HHH has left this part of the country for a few days. *whew!*
5 Km on the treadmill this evening at 8:33 pace, still not great pace, but easier and the gradual build up continues. Funny how a few weeks ago there were only two or three reports a day - now loads - Long may it continue

Definitely sore after last night. Shoulder is still very tender to the touch.

So you guys all still had the heat and humidity today? Must just be in our area but today we were like 70 degrees and I felt cold but then thought how much better it is to be cold than warm. May my weather pass on to you all as well...
