<p>Been MIA the past month with work travel and familiy stuff...trying to get back in the swing of things.</p>

<p>Weights are done for today...going out later for a ride.</p>

<p>3 mile easy run early this morning. Tired and body very sore. Tiredness I get; soreness is worrisome, because I can't shake it.</p>

<p>I fell asleep during the middle of the third period which is pretty much typical me.  Needless to say I got in enough sleep to get up and do an open water swim for about a mile with my nieces this a.m.  They did a 1/2 mile but were pretty happy to get into the water so it was all good.  Weights or yoga tonight.  Nto sure which strength work I want to do so I'll play it by ear.</p>

<p>Had a pretty up-tempo 6 mile run last night, so kept today's 4-miler nice and easy.  Trainer session later this evening.  Can't say I'm expecting much out of that one, my legs have been tired the last 3 days or so.  But you never know.  Sometimes they surprise me.</p>

<p>stupidly did not wear socks with my VFF's last night.. ran outside in the warm weather, ran a little longer than I have the last few runs, AND on a primarily downhill route.  I've got a couple of blisters, needless to say.</p>

1hr yoga early in the morning. Then 70 min mtb ride on the home course. Lots of paddles and I was covered with mud. Boy , just like swimming, you lose a sense of technique when you don't ride 12 days.... I'm using too much brakes. Not comfortable hitting corners and downhills hard. And that could lead to not much fun on a single track. Race on Sunday :/

they do.  :)  the socks predate the shoes, they help if you have between-toe blister problems.  </p>

<p>Had to sub in and teach a 6am boot camp and then a noon Pilates class.  This is the 3rd day in a row that I have opened at 5am.  I am tired...but have a ride later today.  I am hoping to find some energey between now and then!</p>

<p>WOW, it's amazing how not swimming for most of a year will kick your ass.  Time to get back at it. </p>
