Score a big goose egg for me. I'm working at home today, and normally I'd get my run out of the way first thing in the morning. Thanks to yet another visit from the insomnia fairy, I shut the alarm off around 3am. zzzz. Hopefully the run will happen later today, even if it's a short one.

Morning

8 miles last night in the hills. For the first time this year, it felt good..it was a nice change. Stopping for a breather wasn't really an option due to buggies. Youch - I got bit through my compression socks. *grumble*

Nice job tackling the hills last night Brandy. I've still never run at Hyland.

8 miles with track stuffs done this morning - 2 miles with sprinting the straight, recovering on the corners, 2 x 400m all out, 1 x 800m at 5k pace. Felt pretty good.

Morning ladies!

It was 60 degrees and overcast this morning, so instead of logging my medium-long run, I tackled 16.25. I was very tired and my legs were logs, but it was awesome to run in the cooler weather.

Wow, nice runs! Good work, gals!

I did 7.4 miles on the hills last night when it was 90 degrees. Not an easy run at all. Also, I've run all week without a Garmin, which makes me feel naked. I ordered a new 610 from Road Runner Sports on June 26 and it was supposed to ship July 1. The ship date has since been pushed back to July 8 (tomorrow), so I won't get it until some time next week. Oh well, looks like a few more naked runs upcoming, including my long run on Saturday. I'll probably end up doing loops around the park near me that has a 1.95 mile path... since I'm so anal about knowing the exact distance I go...

Today I'll do a short run before mowing the lawn...

wow! nice runs everyone.

We're battling the heat and humidity down here that's fueled by almost daily rain. During the rain storms the temp drops down to 72 and then when the sun comes out it shoots back up to 95ish and starts cooking the moisture out of the ground.

Last night, I went to the LRS to meet up with training buddies. We did our typical almost 9 mile route from there and the last 3 miles were a death march for me. All in all though I logged 15 miles yesterday. hopefully an easier 8 mile run on tap today.

true - but unless they are wearing a bra with it..their opinion is useless :)

I would like a option w/o feeling so nekkid you know. a little more coverage than just the bra but cooler than a tank (i.e. stomach showage)

I have a white Nike tank that I believe was made to be a crop top, there's nothing really special about it but it's much shorter and obviously not of full length regardless of how big/small my belly might be. It doesn't roll up any further while running but be prepared to feel like you'd want to try and pull it down.

Check out Brandy and her abdomen-baring confidence! Woo hoo!!!!! I have no answers for you. My belly fat stays covered, thankyouverymuch.

Nice runs last night and this morning, everyone. Stay hydrated out there... Super humid here too this morning for my track workout. 6 x 800 + 4 striders. Ouch. I was walking the recoveries. Normally I walk for about 30 seconds and then jog the rest of the way around the track, but today I opted for more walking. More accurately, ALL walking on the last three intervals.

Hi all - nice workouts folks!

Rest day for me yesterday. Today I plan on a short warmup run before I put in another segment of that posterior-chain exercise routine that I've adopted. Some yoga poses afterward to stretch out that hip area even more.

I just got my ass kicked by the weather. A training partner asked me to meet him for our usual run at 2:00pm. It has just stopped raining. The sun came out...it was 93 degrees / 51% humidity / 70 dewpoint / heat index 98. I couldn't breath, it felt like someone was standing on my chest the entire time. We did a combo run/walk for a 10:40ish pace. Ugh! I probably sweated out about 4 lbs.

Beautiful summer Oregon days are passing by to no benefit.

Had my pre-surgery meeting with the doc today. Looks like we'll be doing platelet infusion for sure. Monday is the big day and I go in at 10:15 am, hopefully out by 1:30 pm. He pinched the node on my achilles today and I lit up like a Christmas tree.
