Morning all;

10.25 slow and sweaty miles this morning. 75F & 90% humidity. Dew points are close the the temp so needless to say I was soaked when I got home.

Stay cool.

RA- Nice job sweating it out. 40 huh? Round here, that means you qualify for Masters awards

Jill- Nice to hear the humidity isnt slowing you down

I got freaking forced to go in early again tonight. I swear this is the only place that will force you to make more money than you want to... shouldn't 7 days a week be good enough w/o throwing in some mandatory 12s?? I had planned on a group run tonight, so I was going to do something quick and speed-sessiony this morning to give me a 2-a-day.... now looks like it'll just be a regular speed session...

10x400 @ 3K pace w/ 2 min jog recoveries (of course all at 2% incline again)

Oh yea, I ended up with a pair of Brooks Cascadia 5s yesterday. Hopefully I won't get forced to work over on Saturday so I can test em out

Morning folks...

RA - Sending cool air your way

Jill - 96% and it doesn't bother you? One tough lady!

BBS - Don't know how you keep up your running and THAT job.

Did w3r3 yesterday. Back to w5r2.5 today. Tired but will do it. Had to drop the new med level as it felt like meth! Doc said levels not moving very fast so this might take a while.

Good morning everyone.

Another Brick workout for me today. Today I focused more on the bike with a short run. 56 mile bike ride at an average speed of 19.7. The speed felt good, the hill took it out of the legs but I was able to make up the speed on some of the long flat and downhill portions. I followed the bike up with a short 2.5 mile run at a 7:15 pace. I still have to work at slowing down off the bike because I know I can't hold that pace off the bike for a HM.

RA - Hot and humid here as well. Nice job!

Jill - Love those mile repeats!

BBS - Some nice repeats!

Dan - Hang in there brother.

Happy training everyone!

I'm right there with ya bud... I wish I could hold that pace on the track, well, obviously I could, but I always back off too much. Thats the only thing I like abou the TM... it makes you run true.

Nice job everyone

Hey all, quick fly-by today as I'm in an all-day meeting.

No run yet today but I did do some 600s on the track last night. I only did 6 of them since I've got a 5k race tomorrow night but kept them fast -- 2:09, 2:13, 2:15, 2:14, 2:12. It was high humidity and I got soaked even though I was running shirtless.

Tonight - just an easy 5 or so followed by some weights.

An easy 5 this morning in the awful humidity...a good run and continuing to avoid foot or knee issues...knock on wood, at last....

Good efforts out there!
