Geo - we are flying British Airways - haven't looked at any other airlines...did check Delta briefly as that is what my inlaws will be taking, but they were on the order of $1300 RT...I am sure there are other options and prices, but could also be the timeframe (Friday to Saturday) that we are going.

Out on the road today for 3.25+ miles. Signed up for the 5K challenge on strava, and since I was feeling good, figured why not get it done today...need to map it as I think my watch was a bit short.

Yo - 500 mile backpacking trip? You go girl!!

Bike-packing :) ... Sounds a lot more tolerable than 500 miles backpacking! I think maybe she's got the bug... Something I'll have to try at some point...

An easy 27 miles Zwifting today (not quite 90 minutes). Decided on an easy spin instead of beating myself up again... Quiet pack ... I'm surprised people aren't more social on Zwift...

Yo you have to take me bikepacking someday there are some routes here I want to do!
So far we are still investigating SO's issues and its crazy they did a 24hr Holter and wanted him to exercise but we had both work and the electrician for the generator, so we had to rush out for a quick snowshoe straight up and we'll hope the monitor found the answer to question. That was yesterday. Today I had to do boring things like a repeat blood draw but I did get a nice 3 mile snowshoe at sunset breaking trail for the last 3 miles.

Yeah Zoj, bike-packing… for some reasons I have no interest in hiking AT or long thru hike.. that sounds too much work and too big of a commitment’. I guess same can be said for bike-packing. Some do serious distance like pacific cost something rather, from Canada to México on bike. No thank you. Too many other things and places I want to go!
SB - yeah I hope the monitor finds an answer… it wold be so cool if we can explore your neck of the woods on bike. Tho hills scare me… with carrying all the stuff. Do people bikepack the mountains in your area? Like established routes, on gravel?

6-miles run after work, rain at 34F degree. Didn’t feel that cold. Solid run.

One resolution this year is to try new things by myself. Well, accomplished one today. I replaced a car battery by myself! I know, I know, it’s no big deal. But as DH is out of town, it was an opportunity to take it up on myself. My CR-V 5yrs old soon….
The next is to assemble the fat bike that came in mail that is still sitting in my living room…
