Hi tomwhite....nice pool run...thought your were trail running today?? I get confused easily.

Heme..don't know if that was a rhetorical question yesterday or not, but may I suggest your PT??

Got the garmin to work today, although when I turned it on I saw screens I'd never seen before (some kind of setup). Got rid of em by turning it off and on again. Anyway, I ran the exact same route I did the day before yesterday. Garmin said 6.74 miles, usually when I download to sportstracks it adds anywhere from a few hundreths to a tenth of a mile or so, so I'm stickin with the 6.8. Pretty uneventful.....been feeling tired lately, maybe I should quit acting like I'm in my 20's.....nah, probably won't do that either.

Not much goin on with me, Mrs Johnny has a 3.5 day weekend comin up, but it's doubtful we'll do anything. Maybe go hiking and and watch a couple of baseball games on TV.....wait, we do that anyway, long weekend or not.

Yes, Johnny, that was sort of rhetorical..... I'm gonna take a few days easy, pop some AIs, and it it doesn't get better by the end of next week, see the PT.

............and don't you start acting your age..... then the rest of us will feel obliged to follow!!!

Hi TW! That's a very cool mention on Dr. Bookspan's site, BTW!!

Nada for me today, as I've a ton of work to do still leading into the long weekend (we get tomorrow off) and am dreading the traffic on the way home, so don't want to get out too late.

Enjoy the day, everyone!

Heme, you probably know this already, but hamstring stuff happens when there isn't a sufficient warm-up before doing speedwork, or just plain running faster than what's "comfortable" at the start. Having never had pain in the bottom part of my hamstring (imagine that!), I'm a little unsure of how that would feel, and so I'm having a little difficulty in imagining what would've caused it. Yes, I know, the doctor doesn't have to have every ailment in order to know how to cure it, but hey, I never claimed to be a physician! ;)

5.5 borderline sluggish miles for me around noontime. Went for fasting bloodwork this morning, which completely threw off my morning coffee routine. Came home and had my coffee around 10am, but never ate breakfast. So duh, you wonder why a run at noon felt so blah??

Tomorrow is another day... and the first of a new month, too! Enjoy the day, folks.
