<p>I'm still at home because I have a job interview for a little PT job at 9:30. I'll tell you guys more later.</p>

<p>Not fun: my dad called me last night. My mom's treatment isn't really working any more and they aren't going to change it this time. He said she's in good spirits and plans to be around for our Cape vacation this summer. I really hope she will.</p>

<p>Mother f'ing cancer sucks.</p>

<p>Fun: no baseball today</p>
<p>Not Fun: picking up the pieces from yesterday's baseball games. One of kids is still in the hospital.</p>
<p>Not Fun: on my own today/tonight as <strong>Tonya</strong> is in Denver.</p>

<p>Not much else going on for me.</p>

<p>DS's truancy hearing was on Monday. Court ordered: school attendance, do the school work, counseling, cooperation with any requested mental health assessments and a new hairdo. Cut it, pull it back, whatever. First thing the judge said to DS was to pull his hair back out of his eyes so he could make eye contact. The school guidance counselor was there and she commented on that being an issue at school as well. So he's been court ordered to change it. I know that DS was using his hair to hide behind at school and in court - DD used to do it too in situations taht were uncomfortable for her. Court was scary, not that DS was going to show that he was afraid. He was pretty stoic, and he tried to hide behind his hair. So, we have a haircut on schedule for this week. It's Spring Break this week and DS got his sleep out of whack and upside down on the first day, so he's sleeping most of the day away and up most of the night. I don't know if the court appearance had any impact on him, I'll find out I guess when school starts up again on Monday. We have a follow up hearing on APril 19th to determine if DS is complying with the court order. If not, an attorney will be appointed and we will face out of home placement. </p>
