Nice racing boB and Tim. boB, even though the time was not a PR, did you set a PR for pizza consumption?

What she said - thought the trail race may have been a set back for you, glad you had a nice stream of consciousness run.
Both are in May 2011. For those that don't know what that is - it's a 12 person, 200 mile team relay - like Reach the Beach. The New England course starts in New Haven, CT and finishes in Boston. The New York course starts in Woodstock, NY (in the Catskills) and ends in NYC. I figure that I'd ask now since these things usually requires so much coordination.

Maybe - I would need to up my fitness level lots, and I would still be by far the weakest link on anything like this, but I did have a local friend ask about the NE one. (Side note - she has since been diagnosed with breast cancer, had a double mastectomy, and is back running, possibly looking at Steamtown - she kicks ass).

I ran 7 this AM, which is my longest in almost a year. I was up early for no good reason (see fun thread), it was beautiful out (one day respite in the weather, heat and humidity back tomorrow), and I did want to up my distance this weekend. What I forgot about was to eat. All I ate yesterday was cereal and an apple for breakfast, a grilled chicken salad for lunch, and a salad for dinner. Complete lack of protein and carbs after 1 PM. Needless to say, I started getting leg cramps at about 5 miles. Meh.
