<p>gosh darn it! I ran 9.5 miles last night and went to go put it in yesterdays daily and there isn't one! So, I'm starting today's daily even though I haven't run, and I'm going to post about my most awesome 9.5 mile run last night and then my 15 min of stretch/core later, for a total of 41 pts for Team Two.</p>

<p>and I plan on running during my lunch hour so I'll be back to post more later too.</p>

<p>I only got 2.5 miles in today but they were 2.5 hard fought miles. Oh, a mile walk this morning and 50 minutes of core and stretching before that.  Another mile walk this evening and then that'll be it for today.</p>

<p>The Sun was out [!!!], the streets were clear [!!!], wind was up a bit [just enough to bring a wind-shear tear behind the spex]. On the way past the cemetery, I saw a backhoe rolling in. I hoped he was just there to clear out the pathways, but I'm afraid he was there to do his usual job :-(.</p>

<p>I totally surprised myself by making it to the 2-mile turn in just about 17 minutes. I probably could have cracked 34-minutes, if I didn't have to wait at the light for what seemed like THREE cycles before I could finish the last 3/4 mile - no, I DON'T pro-rate my runs for such delays; they are what they are.</p>

<p>love the pic Rand!  I never quite understood the whole 'jogging in place' at the light. just looked stupid to me.</p>

<p>i'm starving - time for my ham sandwich w/ doritos. no I don't put the doritos in my sandwich, but i did put potato chips in my sandwich's as a kid. yum!</p>

What you should be doing looks even stupider (to "those who don't run") then jogging in place, which is, stretching.</p>

<p>No, I never do it either.  Boy, do I HATE to wait for traffic.  Especially when I'm trying to run for time.</p>
