Good morning, everyone.

Up at BCOD with my usual troubled mind. Litigating on the cutting edge is sometimes a very disquieting place to be. Got in a couple nice short Embarcadero runs in SF earlier this week. Will get out for 5 at some point today.

Good catching up on everyone's posts the last few days. Stay strong, all.

chances--gotta love running for keeping you sane!

Only 2000 in the fishbowl this morning. Just didn't have it in me I guess. Had planned on doing about 15 on the Last Chance loop tomorrow. However, with 15-20mph, I think not! Mailboxhead will be racing there Sunday.

Chances- do not forget to stop and smell the roses from time to time.

Mom- Glad you got that swim in.

Real crappy weather here. Bad thunderstorms sposed to be rolling in w/ 'damaging' winds, hail and possible tornados... I'm thinking a TM run will be in order... 4 Miles Fartlekishy.

Actually get Friday and Saturday off work. WooHoo. As you can imagine, by only getting a day or 2 off in a month my to-do list is off the charts for those days...

Hey all.

It has been a while since I have posted. I was having problems for almost a month where I could log on but I couldn't post anything. Things seems to have been worked out now. Nothing for me today.

Have a good one everyone.

Morning folks

Rob - Get a few in for me on that Embarcadero. I miss running there

4boys - So, reason got the better of you with that 15 eh?

BBS - Hmmmm, where'd I put that to do list?

Dave - Still overseas?

Well, my last start lasted on walk and I've been licking my wounds and trying to stay focused on the goal of running SOMEDAY. More blood work, more changes in meds, little change in my attitude. Wanted to stop by and say hi to the gang though. I'll drop in once in a while to keep ya'll up to date and to see how you guys are doing.

Dan - Whip it! Whip it good!

Dave - the site is rather quirky of late. Nice to see you made it in.

BBS - keep those farts to yourself. I've had enough for the week. Stay safe.

4boysmom - nice swim. If those winds were at your back it'd be a good speed workout... into the wind would be a strength workout.

Chances - keep on keepin' on buddy

A wintery mix last night meant lots of slush on the ground so I headed over to the gym for more boredom on the TM. No smelly hot chicks today. Managed to get through 6 miles before I called it quits. It seems that people watching, reading subtitles written by a 3 yr old on the TV(s) while listening to an audiobook was insufficient distraction. Perhaps it's because I'm running slowly? More snow tonight so more TM to follow. On the plus side, I got my car back from the body shop all shiny and new looking.

David--please tell me you are staying safe?

BBS--"fartlekishy"?!? Is that an attempt at turning a noun into an adjective?

Asics--Last Chance for Boston is a 1 mile loop. It's in an office park and the buildings funnel the wind. It is interesting when I workouts up there when it's windy--you can see it in the HR data. Needless to say, with winds like that, NO WAY am I doing a long run there!

Slog, slog, slog ... this winter is driving me crazy. 8 miles yesterday, 6 miles today. Both runs have been my absolutely worst runs in ages. And then it hit me: running and antibiotics don't mix. <sigh> Maybe next week will be better.

Kevin, the hills are definitely going to pay off!

Hi everyone. Today and yesterday were insane work days. I just got the minimum on both days. Today I feel like I was talking to clients, judges or DAs non-stop the whole day.

Today was just one mile. Yesterday was 2 miles and a p90x workout.
