Turning the corner at work and I'm feeling less crazy and stressed out. It's about darned time.

Did the bourbon pan sauce on the chicken last night and it was delish. Had to mix up my own cajun seasoning out of the pantry (salt, paprika, pepper, cayenne, garlic & onion powders, some thyme, oregano). I'm brownbagging the leftovers today.

Dinner tonight is oven roasted salmon with asparagus and rice. Simple, classic, good.

What's for dinner at your house?

I don't think I've seen you guys posting the same dinners twice yet (except for you, 4BM, but your lasagna and meatloaf dinners sound good enough for everyday!). When work settles down, I need to pick out a couple of weeks worth of new recipes to experiment with.

Tonight, it's whatever we order in, I'm in meetings until 9pm.

Hobey, glad the cajun chicken turned out welll. I remember my friend from New Orleans, her mom would throw everything she had into her dishes - bourbon, beer, coffee grounds... somehow it always worked out to be delicious (or maybe we were too drunk to notice!).
Absolutely not - I think it means you have really tasty recpies that you and your family want to eat often! I do the same thing. So, I am amazed at folks who prepare new and different dishes so often.
