Today's workout will be flying with an almost 13 month old...a very active 13 month old. I've been working on my wrestling moves and am prepared (I hope) for 2 hours of fidgeting and flailing...the poor soul that gets stuck next to us on the plane, however will probably not be prepared.

Sparty: Good luck with the jumping jack on the plane. And in case you have no access to the Internt... happy holidays!

6+ mile run early this morning in sloppy slush resulting from 24 hours of light flurries when the temperatures hover around 30 -- cold enough to keep it in snow form as it falls from the sky, cold enough to keep it white as it hits untreated and untouched surfaces, but just right to cause slop on the roads. Got wet. Got dirty. Was fun. Sore back, though, but its a chronic thing that kicks in once a month or so.

8.25-ish mile run putting together a new route from the office. Great little loop - a couple miles of neighborhood, a mile of kinda messy high traffic, then 5 miles of paved multi-use path along the river. I'll definitely be doing more of that route in the future!

2900y at masters yesterday morning and 36 min on the trainer in the evening.

Still in MA. Tom got word yesterday that he was "expected" to be at work until noon today. Sigh.

So, I went out for my 7 mi tempo run.

Shoveled some snow. Decided to move the car to a more sunny part of the driveway...and the car won't start. The Subaru with the roof top cargo box. The car that we need to drive to MI. Then, Tom called to say he was hoping to be able to leave by 1pm. He's bringing home a battery. Hope it works!

IF we hit the road this afternoon, we'll overnight in Niagara on the Canadian side.

Good luck Alicia - I'll be battling a 6-month old on our flights to Augusta Tomorrow (layover in Atlanta just for a little added excitement). 6-mile run this morning with Matt pushing the stroller and our neighbors (Matt wasn't pushing the neighbors). Now, to put Eli to bed so I can finish packing! Happy holidays everyone!
