BBS--after all the crap you guys gave me about not wanting to run in 40* and rain, you think I'm gonna let you off the hook???

Chaotic morning that started way too early. Still managed to make it to the gym where I did a super lazy 2000 in the fishbowl.

BBS - 40s and rain isn't so bad. 30s and rain is where I definitely take it inside though.

4bm - I am definitely not at the point yet where I can call 2000 in the pool lazy under any circumstances.

As for me, I have a phone interview in about 15 minutes -- last one for the week, thankfully! It's great that my resume has attracted so much interest but the schedule's really been grueling. After it's done, I'm heading out for 7 with some fartlek work thrown in.

Then I can start focusing on that holiday that's only 3 days away.

Hawk - have fun with the phone interview fartlek.

4boysmom - nice job in the pool.

BBS - enjoy the rainy run TM.

I got my snow tires put on my car this morning with a mild drama when the tech could not get the TPMS sensors on the 2nd set of rims to register... finally it work. Phew! May head out for a 5'er over lunch then accidentally go home early.

BBS -- I guess 40 degs. and a little moisture's a bit much for a tenderfoot. ;-) Enjoy your 'mill run -- and your much-deserved break.

Mom -- Even those lazy swims are great for your base. GJ.

Hawk -- Good luck, friend. Good to hear you're such a hot commodity. Have a great run.

RA -- I just avoid accidentally going home early by "accidentally" not going to work in the first instance. Works much better -- unless someone notices. Get that fiver in.

Me -- Swim this a.m., and a run (7 or so?) this afternoon. Then gonna watch my Broncos in the Toilet Bowl this p.m.

Well, the 5'er finished as 6.4 miles. Mid 30s, overcast and looking like it wants to snow. However; since I now have my snow tires on, it won't.

Chances - Enjoy the double dip workout. Hopefully there are no accidents at the toilet bowl.

kfuller - nice job braving the elements

7.5 done this afternoon in cloudy mid-50s conditions. The warm weather seems to be fooling some of the world famous cherry blossom trees as they are actually blooming little pink flowers right now. I warmed up for about 15 minutes then launched into a 12 x 1 minute pickup workout, varying speeds on the pickups. Nice little workout.
