Morning all;

I managed to haul myself out of bed, eventually, and hit up the gym for cross-training. 30 mins on the rower for >6000m and then 20-30 mins doing some weights and core. Almost, but not quite, fell off one of the many over inflated Bosu balls while doing squats. Fun times.

Have a good one!

I actually slept last night!!! Woke feeling refreshed. Wow. What a concept! It's Thursday, so off to the fishbowl. Started with a lazy workout. Last set opted for 10x50, 15sec recovery. Obviously not Olympic record pace, but actually felt pretty good and I held a steady pace through all 10 of 'em. I think I'm done with these lazy workouts and am ready to start making things happen.

RA- Nice job on the 'almost' fall. Maybe next time you can connect

MOM- Glad the swim/sleep went well

Brisk 4 mile recovery this morning. 29* was a little cool for shorts, but it was sunny and no wind, so it actually felt pretty nice.

Sounds like a great recovery run BBS.

5 easy for me. Temperature somewhere in the 20s which my lungs are not used to just yet, but otherwise a nice run.

RA -- Nice to have a virtual "partner" to crosstrain with. Good job.

4boys -- Sounds like you've a nice swimming base. Get after it.

BBS -- I think that's actually a decent temp once you get warmed up. Especially with no wind. Nice.

MBH -- Well done.

Nice job on all the workouts this morning. I am taking a rest day. It is nice and windy out, so that would not be such a fun run. Plus I need the break anyway. Have a great morning everyone.

BBS--too bad there's no hunting within city limits. These lovely ladies were in the back yard this afternoon. The second one is just to the right of the three trees on the right. You can just make out the eye and nose.

Hey all,

Well, things are starting to finally turn here as I adjust to the "new normal" in my life as a former employee of the company my mother has dubbed "Scrooge & Marley, Inc."

Good meeting with my attorney this morning...first salvo in the severance battle is about to be fired. He actually recommended a little more aggressive posture than I was contemplating. This should be interesting. In the meantime I've got a potential consulting opportunity so things are happening fast.

May hit the bike again...like right now. I've got a 3pm phone meeting so I think this is my window. I guess I ought to quit dilly-dallying. So with that...

4BM - that looks like my yard, wildlife and all!

RA - those bosu balls will get you every time

MB/BBS - well done in those wintry temps

kevin - enjoy the rest day

Chances - have fun with the milling and wet working.

Greetings, kicksters.

Three miles, very sluggish, included several walk breaks. Quite a disappointment from what I had been doing the previous two weeks. I've had two tough nights of sleep and I am guilty of crummy eating. Can't get away with that so much anymore.

On the bright side, I finished raking the yard, which is almost like cross-training.

Good runs, all
