Good morning, TEAM LIT!

Streakers: A scan of yesterday's daily bread thread had me smiling, and now as I write this I am still stuck with a smile on my face. Seriously, y'all are kicking ass. And I know you feel awesome for it. And what's best is that you're probably getting to that point where although those "down" days of little miles -- like those 1 mile days -- are still hard, they aren't that bad and in fact easy to get in once you decide to do just that. Sparty On!

4 mile run early this blustery and cold morning. Lots of branches down due to cold front that strong-armed itself in overnight. I was like the DPW, cleaning up the road of large branches as I ran.

Great day, gang!

4 mile run this a.m. with R. Not as cold as I thought it would feel when we went out. Pace was slower than I have been at the distance but I felt wonderful and that is what really matters to me.

Introducing a coworker to the dance studio tonight, she wants to take one of the high cardio 'fit' classes (not the choreography based ones I usually take)...I may die. Lots of bouncing around in my future...lordy, lordy.

Strength and core, followed by a 45 minute run this morning...about 20 degrees when I headed out at 5:00, but not as bad as where Thor is...just cold, no downed branches, etc. Run came out to 5.44 miles.

Just finished 45 minutes in Z2 on the trainer.

Kind of a lame run, done late in the day before Xmas party, but it's done. took SO long to get any resemblence of loose. Then 6 hill drills, run up hill 1 min fast, then run down again and keep running same pace once it leveled off. Downhill I have no problem running an 8min pace :)

those are actually fairly rough on me, so jogged it home and got ready for my company holiday party, held at my house tonight!

2nd Christmas light run with my little guy Brian. Soooo much fun, we were judging which house had the best lights and of course from a childs point of view, more is better! His favorite was the house with all the big huge blow up Santas and snowmen and lights everywhere!

But over course the blow up Santas and other assorted figures were best! After all, kids know best.

I did this exact run today (Friday). Nice job. And hey, this time of year, just run up... don't worry about charging or hating the hill or anything but running up. And choose a hill that is not too steep. Save the killer hills for in-season. Nicely done, man!
