5 x 800: 3:28, 3:24, 3:13, 3:21, 3:21 with warmup/cooldown for a total of 7 @ lunch.

Weather was brutal. 30 degrees, steady 20 mph wind, snow, 17 degree windchill. Good run though.

Have a great day everyone.
One hour of water running. I am not loving this workout. I get warm, breath a bit harder, and my muscles feel the challenge of the water's resistance, but an endorphin high it ain't.

I think I need to wear something with less floatation so it's harder.

I also taught pilates and yoga classes this morning.
Walked 30 minutes on the TM. Then felt pretty good so threw in a very slow mile of jogging. Total: 2.7 miles in 42 minutes.

It's funny, but I will feel ten times better at 9 days post partum than I did the month before Ezra was born.
Had the roads all to ourselves: 28F, winds, and snow at 630p.

Now 11 days out from Boston, this was the last quality workout on my training group's schedule. 4x 7min @ T-pace

My legs are still feeling the weekend run, so my pace was quite a bit slower than normal. But my training partner led the way tonight and left me in the dust. I'm quite proud of my Boston-bound peeps and look forward to following them on their big day.

10 miles total
4mi @ T-pace (4x 1mi; with 2 min recoveries)
Mile splits: 7:14/7:09/6:57/6:51

This workout did not come as easy for me as in past weeks. Looking forward to a mini-taper to allow healing to occur.
2 kilometers tonight.

Not too cold (0? C, still in shorts) but very windy.

I tried to think of Buxtehude's butt while running, but my imagination ran wild.

So I concentrated on Prokofiev (Alexander Nevsky).
