Haven't run Thursday's run yet (obviously), but wanted to get in here early to post some pictures I think you guys will like.

DH and I went up to the Large Animal Research Station, also known as the "Musk Ox Farm," looking for babies. None to be found, but we did find this guy up by the fence, eating hay. I think they look like Maurice Sendak characters from "Where the Wild Things Are." I love musk ox...

And the week before, we took a picture of this guy at the Reindeer Farm. He's a little bigger and fuzzier now, but was so tiny here!

And when he grows up, he'll look like this guy!

I was feeling kind of tired and run down Wednesday, so ran Thursday's run instead. 6.5 miles @ 8:07 avg pace, temps in the upper to mid-30's and a wind out of the north. Brrrr, wasn't dressed for that! Today I hope to run Wednesday's 10 miler, we'll see how that goes.

What's that white stuff on the ground in those pics - I miss it.... Love the animals, don't see too many down here in Urban Argentina. The only wild animals around here are teh dogs that chase me when I go down some of the quieter streets.

As for running, I managed Two in a Row for the first time on my comeback. After yesterdays somewhat disappointing run, I decided on another trip to the gym, as it's a holiday here for Holy Week, and they have installed a new sauna at the gym as well - it's been a while since I relaxed in a sauna. So, I got on the Treadmill and without any real plan, just decided to run easily, starting at 10.6 kph pace, and clicking up a notch each kilometre, completeing a 5Km run in 27:28 - Not rocket speed, but it felt so much better than yesterday's tough 4 Km at a slower average speed - Go figure! After the run, it was a trip to the sauna, and practising my Spanish with the locals - always fun, but the first time I have done it while lying back and sweating.......
