Unfortunately I forgot the Body Glide and suffered serious shower shock post-run.

OUCH! We had one of our reps in the store yesterday and he also handles our Body Glide supply. We started talking about all the pink stuff out these days -- the Breast Cancer 3-Day is HUGE now, and lots of women are buying anything that has a pink theme or ribbon, etc. on it. He then pulls a small travel-size Body Glide out of his bag and gives it to me. It's PINK. Pink cap, pink on the logo, even the glide stuff is slightly tinted pink. There was a whole reference sheet about selling this "women specific" Body Glide.

Seriously? I love that the pink ribbon, etc, stuff is drawing attention to the fight against cancer and, in a way, empowering women. But do you need to add a pink cap to Body Glide and sell it as a woman's only product?

Went out for drinks right after work with some of the store/group run people, so my 8 miles this morning were fine until about mile 6. Then the dehydration, humidity, and lack of sleep set in and I dragged my soaking wet self home the last 2 miles.

ETA: oh, and I did more core stuff this morning. I don't need to report my running to keep me accountable -- I'm good with that -- but I'm going to make an effort to report my core stuff so I have something keeping me accountable to working on that middle area!
