Hey everyone, I'm back at work today, so that is one good thing about the day so far. I also feel like, hey, if I am okay to go to work, I'm okay to run right? I'm going to take it easy though...in fact, I may go halfsies on my run today, doing 5 or 6 at lunch and 5 or 6 after work. Maybe. I might also do my usual 8 mile run + elliptical this evening after work. We'll just have to see.

Ellen - loved the photos. Nice to see pictures of people in their races.

Liz - nice to hear from you again.

Richard - Wish I could run the 18 - 20 with you...I'd KILL for a long run of that sort right now. Maybe Sunday...

Mailbox - what's with the 20 miler? Are you training for something big?

Loopy - sorry to hear about your loss...I've been thinking about you the last couple of days. If you need someone to talk to about death, I'm here. I lost my mother just 6 months ago. I ran through it and it did wonders for me.

kfuller - to answer your question about the elliptical -- it depends on the machine. There are so many types of ellipticals that, depending on the model, brand, etc. it's hard to tell you what resistance I use unless you use the same model, and same workout program on the machine, as I do. What type of model was it, or do you know?

flounder - you are so inspiring these days. Your balance in life has really gotten my attention. Way to be bud.

dan - way to get through it anyway.

RA - I had the same problem the ONE time I ran with the Omaha Running Club. Needless to say that one time was enough for me. Too little miles, too easy + no one willing to run at my pace = solo runs for me. I'm not worried about it. I'm a solo runner anyway.

brian - I see you're starting to feel the effects of the marathon training.

Have a great first day of spring everyone--I wish I had a tv at my desk so I could watch my brackets prevail!
