Hmm, I don't know what the condition of the path will be like in that little township park, so I'm going prepared with changes of clothes suitable for walking or running. If the path will support safe running, I'll run. If it's safer to walk, then I'll do walking for an hour and a half.

18 degrees here now, but should hit the mid-30s by the afternoon. I've got 7-8 miles on tap for tonight, and I haven't decided if I'll run outside or on the TM. I guess it'll depend on whether I feel like braving the cold or not...

I think I'm gonna confirm those plane tickets into Portland. Yeah, I'd love to fly right into Eugene, but I don't think that's gonna happen. So I suppose I might as well suck it up and take care of it...

Have a great day, all...

Morning all, no run scheduled just cross training after work. Boy my knees are still a bit sore- but I did run 3 and 4 miles on consecutive days. Still adjusting to the increased (added 4th day) of running I suppose. I'll be good and try not to go to fast too soon. RICE is on the menu today and I don't mean for lunch.

6 miles on the TM this morning. I don't know how anyone runs much more than that... 40 minutes in, and I was just like "please let me make it to 6..."

No run for me today, I have choir practice tonight. I did get an email invite from one of the gals in my training group for a Christmas Lights Run/party at her place in 2 weeks. I went last year and had a blast, although everyone else was running easy and I was running at nearly my 5K PR pace. They normally run about 2-3 min/mile faster than me, and they really did drop back on their pace. It wasn't until the end that I realized I was running so fast though, otherwise I'm sure they would have tried to ease up a bit more so we could stay together as a group.

glad DW got home alright, LL

my legs weren't cooperating for my run yesterday, so I'm adjusting the mileage for later today. I'd like the good-vibes baton sent my way if possible, please.

Now, if this were the "fun" thread, I would think that was a euphemism for something very Friday-ish.

Morning!
Cold here too - probably around 20 or so right now. I'm working from home today so I should get in a decent run at lunch if I can get some shizzle done before then. I woke up around 4am with a list of stuff I needed to do last month running through my head - I hate when that happens!

Bob I'm jealous you're doing Eugene (doing the marathon that is, not some strange acts with a geeky kid named Eugene). For a new marathon, I've heard great things about it.

LL Hope you get another good nap in the big girl bed today.

PTom Did you lay the wood to the young punks yesterday?

Rest day yesterday and runnng on tap for tonight. Should have switched for yesterday as I'm catching a flight to Pittsburgh later today - don't have time to squeeze in a run.

I'll spend the time waiting in the airport walking the corridor (yea, I'm the funny looking lady that power walks through the airport and does curls w/ her carry on - got to get in the exercise anyway you can).

I had a running dream last night. Dreamt I ran up a hill near me at the end of a 5K and then at the end all of us running had to go into a chute with barrier rails you'll see in places where long lines might form. I dreamt that I would grab the rails to either side, do a sort of front lever and did pull ups from that position.

My abs aren't that strong yet. Yikes.

Day 2 week 9 of OHR is finished!! I cranked up the speed (by my standards) to compensate for the bithday cookies and cake I had. I burned a fair amount of calories.

18F here, mix of snow/ice on the ground. Thinking of skipping the run today (seems to be a trend here lately - must snap out of it!) plus have some stuff around the house to do before work.
