<p>Well, it was a mild and foggy day (not unlike today, in fact) two years ago when Evelyn came into this world.  Yes, after a night of eating Don Cherry's hot wings, Mexican dip and other munchies and developing an awful case of heartburn, she decided enough was enough.  I arrived at the hospital around 3 AM and by 6 AM (and no epidural, dagnabbit!) she came out.  9 pounds, 5 ounces.  My chubby little angel.  : )</p>

<p>Hi all - last day of work here in SF.  Pretty bittersweet, especially in a job and co-workers that you've generally enjoyed over the past 9 years or so.  Living quarters is awfully bare - last time I remember living in similar conditions in a non-hotel setting was back in college.</p>

<p>The past few days have been pretty hectic at work, it was exhausting.  I went to bed early (for me) last night in fact and didn't get much of anything else done other than cooking my dinner.  I kept waking up throughout the night (happens when I go to bed early) but still felt fairly rested today for which I am grateful. </p>

<p>After running at 5am the past 2 days, it was nice to sleep in until 5:30 today.  I'll do my LR for the week after work today because of party craziness and work and Christmas the next 3 days... </p>

<p>Today my kids are performing A Christmas Carol in class.  I make them do it in British accents.  It's hilarious.  They have some costumes, too.  Awesome! </p>

too bad we live so far apart, because Penny's been up to no good lately too.  She's taken to stealing the tissue box off the toilet and shredding it.  Also, anything I put in the paper recyling basket (something she never used to bother with) is fair game lately.</p>
