Guess I'll get it started today. For some stupid reason my body decided that it would be a good idea to wake up at 4:30, so I figured I'd get my run in early. 15, and I felt great despite a little too much wind for my liking. Guess I can't complain after the seventy degrees I got to run in during the middle of December yesterday.

Rest day here.

I have an ache/pain that I was hoping maybe one of you guys have had... its in the middle of my left leg (thigh), on the back side. Not much pain walking or running, but if I put pressure there w/ my hand or from sitting in my truck it is painful. Almost feels like something deep in there close to the femur....?

MBH -- Beast mode these days. Great job.

BBS -- Hmm. Is it in the hammy? Maybe just a knot that a massage therapist might be able to help with?

Me -- Can't shake the crud. Wish I'd just burn a fever and get rid of it, but haven't -- yet. Taking the day off.

Nice job on the early 15 MBH

BBS - +1 on what Chances said about the massage. It's a start. Chiro or PT might help too.

Chances - colds are maddening the way they hang on. For me it seems a 10 day cycle is unavoidable. Not much you can do, though but give it time to get out of your system.

As for me...heading out for about 9 in a little bit. Another interview later today...but it's a phone interview so no hassling with a tie or traffic.

MBH--yah, just a bit breezy in these parts, too.

chances--get well!

Hawk--glad to see that wearing a tie is a big concern.

Planned on heading out for a run first thing this morning. Uh, make that early afternoon... Unseasonably warm but pretty windy. POP was 100% and I finished the run soaking wet--from sweat because I overdressed. Nice little trot. Finally did the run I've been wanting to do. Basically combining two routes. The detour only netted an additional short mile, but the change of scenery was worth it. My garmin is upstairs so I don't have exact numbers. Something like 6.5m at 8:45pace.

Hi, all.

I wanted to do six today but I conked out at five and walked the rest. Whatever. Still would be considered a good run as recently as a month ago, but hey, the standards are higher now.

Good evening everyone. I got in a nice 4 miles on the treadmill at the rec. center. Overall it was a very good run. It sure beats outside right now as the air quality sucks. We have been having an inversion for about a week now and that makes the air quality terrible. Hopefully it will be better soon.
