I'm a slave to my log. I'm committed to 30 mpw through the end of the year. So, since I'm running a 12K trail "race" on Sunday and wanted to take the two days prior off from running and my "running week" ends on Saturday, I crammed my 30 miles into the last five days in a row. I normally allow 2 rest days within my 30 miles; so this was a stretch. Mission accomplished as of tonight. Legs tired, pyriformis unhappy, but otherwise okay. Still...it was harder than I thought it would be and I certainly don't feel like doing that again!

As for the "Spooky 12K" this Sunday, I'm not planning on racing it. It sounded like fun though and I'll do the best I can, but no pressure. So far it sounds like it won't be rainy, but may have recently rained - so possibly mud. Should be an adventure. The last time I actually ran a trail race was about 5 years ago.
