Only 10 days to go...I'm glad because I'm still a bit sore and I hope to be totally pain-free before starting up again for the winter.

Have a great day. EQ - Those pictures are amazing. Lucky man you are.

8.2 miles this morning in the humid but cool air. I'll take tomorrow off from running, although I'll probably walk, to rest my legs a little before Saturday's half-marathon.

Hi gang. 7.4 miles in to work on one of the shorter routes. From 70f yesterday afternoon to below freezing last night with snow. Lawns are covered, streets are bare. Calgary gave autumn a pass this year.

4.1 miles not timed.

100 situps. 2 sets of biceps & triceps, and 1 set each of overhead press & pec flys. I did weights Tuesday too, and forgot to note it (not that it matters). Rough getting back to them though, I'm so weak now!

Easy jogging around, then 3x400 in about 1:3X with the sate bound girl. I did an excellent job pacing and it felt effortless. I also found out I get to warm her up for the State meet, so in a way I do get to run on the course. It's always been a dream of mine so that's neat for me.

I felt good enough to do some cross training. 40 min on the elliptical. 3 classes today -- 2 flow yoga and one pilates.

Another hot soak tonight and my legs should be good to go tomorrow!

I had planned tonight to try to do my home 15.2 mile loop. However, when I left the house I forgot the headlamp, and I was running out of daylight.

So I cut it to the 13.2 mile loop.

It was a bit of a struggle. The HRs were up a bit. I think some of that might be due to the fact that I am dieting right now, and over the last few days have only been taking in about 1500 calories.

Nice night for a run.
Run Segments
