<p>so running - I did 6.5 miles yesterday and meh..it didn't feel all that great. I think my legs are still heavy from the massage and it was very warm. blah</p>
<p> </p>
<p>running some recovery after work and then going to the Bryan adams concert. Woot!</p>

<p>End of the month is TMBG!!!! I am so excited for that one!</p>

<p>Since I'm on a self-imposed hiatus from running, I went to the gym yesterday and did more lifting than I've done in a long time. I'm actually surprised I'm not more sore today... Dunno what I'll do today. I wanted to start swimming again, but I see that both pools at my gym are reserved this evening for something or another. But I see the pool is open tomorrow night. I guess my renewed swimming career will have to wait until then. Still doesn't clear up what I'll do tonight. Maybe more lifting. Or maybe another day off. Or maybe I'm just stupid enough to attempt another run... We'll see...</p>

<p>Cool for swimming, <strong>Bob</strong>. I need to motivate myself into the pool too. My class was cancelled last Saturday due to a swim meet, and this Saturday I'll miss it because my cousin is getting married. I haven't been motivated to go to the pool on my own in a few months. Bah.</p>

<p>Running also is bah. Oh well. This is what happens when work and life conspire against you. Oh, and also when you never get more than 5 hours of sleep a night, and that's WITH sleeping pills every night. Oh well again. Five hours a night is way better than what I've been living with for the past, oh, 10 years or so. I'll take it. <br>

<p>I went to Dewey Drink last night as planned...we ended up with kamikazes (no monkey balls, alas), which were HUGE. When did a shot become 4 oz??? Oof. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Then I went to tap class. Note to self: there's something to be said for tapping after a shot. I was much less concerned about screwing up! Actually, it was great to be back at tap and nice to see I actually do remember quite a bit and my feet have some muscle memory for it now. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Back feels ok today too...I was careful when I got home from class, I stretched more, took some advil, and put on a Salonpas patch after I took a hot shower. Woke up a little stiff this morning but able to move.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>My father's going home today, so my aunt is going to pick him up and I'm going to head up there after work. I'll stay with him for a few days. Probably through Sun but might stay til Mon morning. I'm really nervous about being his caregiver, not that I expect he'll need that much care besides cooking a bit and helping him get in and out of bed and his chair. Still, this is first time I've had to do anything like this, esp for my father...I hope I can manage. There will be lots of family and friends coming and going at his house, I'm sure I won't really have to do this alone.</p>

<p>I plan to bring some running stuff and make that one of the breaks I take over the weekend.</p>

<li>Boston University Terriers (the dog is known as Rhett, "because no one loves Scarlet [sic, team colors are red and white] more than Rhett")</li>
<li>Simmons College Sharks (I had to look this up! I had no idea.)</li>
