Morning All

Got up early for me, being a late shift worker and did a 3 miler at 07:30 it felt so fresh out there, real nice. I did the same route yesterday, and today my pace improved by 19 secs have to try this early running a bit more often (maybe)

Anyway: 3m 30:07 @ 10:03 pace AHR 149 67%

I haven't had a proper look at the running log on here, wonder how it compares to the old one.

Good morning Jogger!

This morning called for a recovery run after yesterday's good but tough Interval MLR. The legs were tired all afternoon so what to run today was obvious.

6 miles recovery at 9:56 min/mile pace, average HR 131.

Morning Roy and Bill. You're out early this morning. 6 recovery miles for me. 1st run since finishing the relay Sunday afternoon. Legs heavy and tired. 1st mile 9:11 and balance avg around 7:50. No run tonight as vraa starts tomorrow and a storm of rain and hail suppose to come tonight as well.

Good morning! We had a work-related issue today so instead of running, I did 45 minutes on the stationary bike at home this morning. The dogs were happy I was home instead of out the door without them.

Tonight I have to give a presentation to the capital campaign donors for our new Library. I hate giving speeches and am very nervous. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

good morning masters!

2nd day of no running again. Working all day, then home this evening with my son. I have tomorrow off work though so while DS is in school, I'll have time for a good run to get VRAA off to a good start. Since my son is spending the night with my parents tomorrow night and all day Saturday, I plan on getting up early Sat a.m. and joining the running club on their group runs. That'll be fun.

If not, drive safely young man.
Erika, I had the same magical experience during my run last night. It must have been in the PNW air.

Since this is a cut back week for me I decided to take the day off today. Besides, I am still enjoying the magical 9 miles I ran last night chasing the sunset.
Off to work and then travel to Seattle for a health board meeting tomorrow.

I love it when training works as intended!

It couldn't have been the margarita, Sans Sousey, no bug could have survived in that! Let's blame millbot.

Mustang Sally doubles up her vitamin C and hopes Sheer Badness will hold off the bugs.

Track tonight. 1000m repeats. I'm planning on holding them to Zone 3 and just using them to breeze some of the abuse from my legs. The Wise Bad Faerie has lectured me on the dangers of letting the post-race high fool me into doing something stoopid. Yes, Mr.-Dr.-Run-like-hell-up-a-700'-hill-in-the-desert-Wise-Bad-Faerie. Gotcha.

Or whoever's tippling.

(Okay, it's too early for that.)

Roy, it's comforting to see you post first. I'm glad you're here. Pass the crisps. Great runs, everyone. Breger, what's not to like about my hats, hmmmm? (They hide the all-too-frequent Bad Hair Days )

I'm taking my burning lungs out for a turn. Don't know where or how long and I don't want to hear any complaints from them.

Hi everyone!

17 miles in gorgeous weather! Too bad VRAA didn't start today.

I did my hilly route backwards, hoping it would be easier. Nope....not any easier. But being on the opposite side of the road did make for some new scenery. Funny what you don't notice on the other side of the street.

I had a bag of Sport Beans, a Gu, 6 oz. of Cytomax performance drink and a Power Bar recovery shake after. Hopefully no foot cramps later.

The Robins are chriping, the sun is out, I think I'll take the dogs for a walk......Have a great day all!

Went for a lovely 5 mile run last night, not too warm and not too cold, but just right!
I am looking forward to the time change this weekend though and starting my runs in the light again.

Yeah, too bad VRAA always starts on a Friday... rest day for me! Tonight I'll get in 5 or so EZPZ miles. MS, I got the same lecture from the man-in-the-kilt so will try to tone it down (heh). Last night's run was so nice though, except for the slippy spots where the grader had polished the path. I'm loving this later daylight which will only get better next week! Sorry for the morning runners being dipped back into the dark, but it'll come around.

Nice run, Dr Dale. You too Berger.

Susan, I hate speaking in public... or even small groups. Ack. But sounds like Mariposai excels so I'd listen to her. (Hi Nancy! )

Hi Roy! Hi Gin!

Pass the margherita pitcher!

The pool is broken today, so....20 min rowing, 20 min spinning quickly followed by an indoor track mile, some leg extensions and icing on the cake....a chin-up!
