G'morn

Well played, Todd. I bailed on an o'dark thirty slog....pfffft....

I'll likely plod on the TM this morn. Legs are wiped after a couple days of tough workouts.
I'll convince myself that a slow slog is better than no slog.

Later, I hope to spend ONLY a couple of hours doing holiday shopping.
Possibly some baking.

This evening will be spent dining and gabbing with my former reading team.
Love those ladies! It will be fun catching up on gossip.

Is Robbie Hummel still a force on the court? Poor guy has had a rough time of it with knee injuries.

good morning. i think DH is missing work, again, for the 4th day, due to his cold. no rest for me. i took some nyquil so i slept a few hours last night, most since Saturday night. I am annoyed at the inequality here and the lack of work ethic.

It was supposed to snow last night, thankfully it did not! yoga this morning with Zoe, then hoping to fit a run in before work.

The run is done. It took about a mile to shake off the stiffness in the legs and joints. But 6.4 mi done and banked.

Time is running out to make rack up miles for the year. I already know I won't make my goal, but I would like to get close.

Good morning!

Todd, I admire your early morning runs.

FB- It's probably good that I can't work from home, 'cause I'd get distraceted and be in the fridge all day.

Meri- Hope the household gets back into balance soon and everyone feels better.

Porty- have fun baking and gossiping and plodding!

I have to be in court most of the day today. Then after work Miss Sunshine meets with her reading tutor at the YMCA. I'll run while she's doing that.

Jebba, the early morning runs have gotten scarce. I need to get back into that routine as I have more free time then.

Agreed that kids have built in motion detectors! One church I went to the pastor insisted you HAD to have devotions first thing in the morning. Yah, but once the kids get up, there ain't no such thing as "quiet time". Fine, then just get up before the kids. So I tried getting up half hour before the kids normally got up. And........ the kids started getting up half an hour earlier.

"Rest" day. Started with laundry at 7:30. Need to bake bread--one loaf for a friend who is about to take a major exam for grad school, one for Grandma. We still have cinnamon bread so I probably won't bake any for us. I am treating myself to a trip to the book store. Quite the unique place--mostly used/rare books. You never know what you'll find there!

Hello!

I want to know which one of you sillies got me sick? I'm betting it was Meri... probably hexed me with her hubby's germs through the computer. I felt find all day yesterday, then got to the gym and had to run outside (oh, the horror!)... well, it was (and is) cold... Evidently I am allergic to cold air because I started sneezing immediately and haven't stopped since. During the rest of the warmup, I felt just exhausted... really exhausted. The workout was really not that hard of a workout, but I felt like I wasn't going to be able to finish.... I was just so drained. Well, I finished (not one of my faster times, though) and went to my parents' house to pick up the munchkins... almost fell asleep on the couch... but when I got home, I couldn't sleep... so, I'm even more tired today, and now I officially have a cold. (MERI!!!! this is all your fault!)

I hope I don't give it to any of you! I apologize in advance if I do.

Oh, and just for fun (and because I *think* porty likes to read them) here is the workout from yesterday:

Anyone pick up on the significance? Pretty cool, huh?
