Should be a challenge for me to get my run in with an away game. I'm not sure if the bus will leave late enough after school for me to get a run in and shower up before it leaves. We'll see...

Have a great day and stay warm....it's freezing here.

Hope you get time for your run, Alex. I remember those bus trips to away games.

I was freezing here in breezy 35 degrees at 6 a.m. when I went out for a very easy 3! You are all free to mock me for my wussiness.

Long run in to work in the cold. Slippery conditions, particularly on the bridge over the Bow River.

9.2 or so miles. Slow.

I can't say anything about your wussiness, SGH, as the temps are higher than that here. By the way, are you staying on the island for the marathon, or are you staying on the mainland? Back when I was thinking of running Kiawah (before I waited too long and it filled up, and back when I thought I could be ready for a full at this point), I was going to stay closer to Charleston in a much less expensive hotel room.

My run today was a windy 5.4 miles, and the wind never seemed to be behind my back, making for a slower than usual run.

Day started off with lousy weather - Very windy and wet - Thankfully the wind died down as the day progressed and around 6:30 I got out and ran along the Grand Canal for around 5 miles at a little over 8:30 pace. This run has a lot of roads to cross, and traffic was very bad tonight, so a lot of stop/starting, but I made it around and enjoyed the run.

All preparation for my 10 Mile Rcae on Sunday over in England

4.4 miles today. Absolutely perfect running weather - sunny, upper 20's and a cooling breeze. It doesn't get any better than that.

Hi all - I'll play:

yesterday - I took that magical first post marathon run, it hurts every step of the way, then you feel 100X better once you're done - 3 miles in 31 minutes

today - another easy recovery run - 4.5 miles in 44 minutes - once again, my legs feel much better after the run - I'm almost back to normal now

8.23 miles in 1:19. Same run as yesterday. We are getting our first snow of the season this afternoon. Wish I loved running in it as much as our two Aussies do.

Good rest to all our weekend racers we have here! Hope the sun is out, the footing good, and the wind non-existant.

Well long story short...I'm a fool. Didn't check the schedule well, game was at home so I got a great run in. 7 miles sort of progressive based on time restraints with 4x~200m pickups at the end as fast as I could go safely in the slop. Footing was pretty good for most of the run. Also I caught a lucky break with the wind out of the south...15mph but thankfully never had to run INTO it, but I did have to deal with the crosswinds, but those aren't nearly as bad. We've gotten another few inches of powder today, but I'm still weary of snowshoeing. Maybe on Sunday when I'm not running. Oh ya, 18*, 0* WC. I'm definitely acclimating well so far. Hoping for 8 easy ones tomorrow after school.

Nice run, Alex. Welcome Teh Anti-Kewt. Nice recovery running.

Took a day off. There goes my plan to streak the month of Dec. A long streak is a intermediate goal I have, but I won't sweat missing today. Ran last two days in 28F temp and dealing with it so far. Is it too late to wish for indian summer?

Alex, when did you start posting with Grizzly at CR in the R&R daily thread? I wonder, because

Today was my Person of the Day in the PRT. If you haven't seen it yet, I mentioned the R&R thread from back in the day. I wish was still following some others from that group, like tylerkdd.
