1. If there are people who really shouldn't come for lack of finances but really want to come you are invited to stay with me. I live about 20 minutes from the Capital Square and I have 2 extra bedrooms and a bunch of land to camp on.

2. Any one up for a pre/post race brat fry/bonfire? I have plenty of room for that too.

3. A KS/CH/KR 30's, PRT, cocktail hour with Hello My Name Is name tags and everything. This will give the local's the almost locals and the people coming in to town just for the race a chance to meet up and match faces with avatars and log in names.

These are just things that crossed my mind when I was on the dreadmill last night.

I can see if I can get the Yukon that weekend. The thing fit's like a hundred people in it OOOOOOO and we can watch a movie in there too.

I think a bon-fire/brat fry would be fun. There is plenty of room the bonfire pit is HUGE and stacked taller than me with tree limbs so if it ever decides to stop snowing it could be great!

I won't have a car, I'm flying in and at the mercy of the auto-ed, but I'd love to do any of the above. Exc camp in your back yard; I have a hotel room with a bed for that. Thanks though!!!

looks like I have the hotel covered as the company is picking up the tab (I will probably need to stay at the holiday inn because of a corporate dealio to pull that off, but no hotel cost means more money to drop on booze) all I have to do is see a customer on Friday during the day..

so no need for sleeping space for me, but I am cool with everything else

I'm game, too. I will also have a car. I had thought of the Great Dane on Friday, but heck, I'm open to anything especially if it is not crowded and free and it's fun!

I also have a car and will be at the Inntowner.

Where do you live, Wi??

Transportation can be tricky in Madison (parking is a horror on the isthmus and cabs are rotten to find), but from most hotels there is a shuttle. Nettie reported on marathon day before she didn't have too much trouble.

I'll have a car. I'm driving from Ohio, because it'll be less hassle than flying, and I can bring home some Prairie Fume.

I am in Evansville. I think the Dane for a Friday night meet and greet is a fantastic idea. It's close so those at the Inn don't have to drive and it has parking right next door for the ones that do have to drive. They have a downstairs that we can see if we can get a section of or a very very small patio depending on the size of the group and the SO's.
