I've been at the car wash over 2 hours waiting for my car. I got bored of studying (no, how'd that possibly happen in the exciting world of basic chemistry? :roll_eyes<img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"> and decided to people watch for a while.<br><br>
1. One woman came in with a little tiny dog on a pink leash. She was wearing ultra-high heels, capri tights, and a long dress-style shirt. Then, when I heard someone comment on it, I looked closer at her dog-- the dog's nails were MANICURED and PAINTED red. OMG... a lot of the "SAHW's" and SAHMs in this particular area are a different species to me... but... really?<br><br>
2. I think I'm getting more patient to get ready for having kids. One mom had 3 kids running around, screaming. She'd go get one and the other would act up.... and when you think she has that under control, the third one has its time to shine. Yet, all I did was smile at the kids being cute as they tried to get their share of attention... even though they were loud. Used to be, I'd roll my eyes. I guess it's harder to be judgemental when you know soon enough you'll be the one with the kids who pick the most public place you go in the day to stop behaving.<br><br>
Now, I'm on the free internet they have here. I thought this would take about an hour and a half and I'd get to go for a bike ride today. <img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"><img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"> If they don't finish in about 5 minutes (I doubt it, they're finishing up on the exterior now-- still have to detail the interior), I probably won't get to because I have to go meet up with the contracter we just hired to go over what needs done at the condo tonight. Calling off appointments to ride your bike should be more acceptable. Even work. Yeah, that'd be the life!
