Hi all

Easy's obviously the theme today.....7 easy miles in the woods (including an extra 15 minutes for TW). I think I've decided on using the pad on the hurtin' foot only, as opposed to both feet. Foot felt OK during the 7 miles, OK meaning tolerable discomfort, and tolerable discomfort is probably about as good as it's going to get at this stage of my life. Tomorrow I will rest and then on Saturday, attempt a 9-10 mile pavement run wearing the trail shoes.

Wonder how Heme's doing as the designated runner in the runners clinic.....I have visions of an art or drawing class, with the injured elite runner as the teacher, a bunch of eager starry eyed pupils as the newbie runners, and Heme, up on a platform as the model.........dressed, of course, in the red bathing suit. ......(sorry, I'll try not to bring the matter of your attire up anymore Heme)

Hi guys!

Terrrible news on the fires, KS.... wish the NE could ship down some rain, as they're getting slammed again. Hope you get good news from your doc..... that's tomorrow for your appointment, right?

Good idea, TW!

Stay dry, Mike!

Geeze, Johnny, enough of the red bathing suit stuff! Focus on the avatar....focus on the avatar!

We just had a brief chat, asked if there were questions and went out. Uber athlete took the walkers and I took the runners, not much of a clinic after all. My foot held up OK, was a bit sore, but better than Tuesday. Only ran slowly with the group for ~25 minutes to show them the first 3.5K of the 5K course.

Tomorrow, I see my GP to discuss thyroid. This should be interesting.
