Hi KS! Hope you finally get that rain you so badly need. How's the hip behaving?

{{{{{TW and Pickles}}}}}.. I thought too that you and Pickles would have had those results by now. I'm thinking that no news is good news, but still.... I'd be on your doctor's case big time for keeping you in the dark this long. I've been in the position of waiting for biopsy results and I know how nervewracking it is.

We're getting a bit of rain today and the temps are staying quite reasonable. Am planning to join the LRS Thursday night group at the track for a wee bit of speed work... the first in a looooong time, so will be making sure I don't overdo it.

Been very busy lately and haven't been able to post, but I'm trying to keep up.

Nice tempo runs yesterday Happy and ks.

I too did a tempo yesterady, very strong. 2 mile w/u then 8 at 7:47 avg pace. The entire 10 was at 7:57. I was pleased.

Today I'm taking a day off to play in a member/guest golf tournament. Maybe I'll have better luck in this than I did in the club championship.

Good Morning all!

Hope you get that baby storm, John!

Ditto on thinking that Tom and Pickles would have heard something by now. that's a long wait! Hopefully you get news in the next day or so!

short little run for me this morning. well, all my runs are short these days - 3 miles here, 5 miles there. . . my long run distance is now like 8 miles . . . pretty pathetic. But I did 3 this morning at 6:30. so nice and cool out. Should be around mid 90's for the next several days. In fact this weekend should be real hot (upper 90's), so I booked a brunch cruise on Saturday on the jetboats (www.hellgate.com) fun fun time on a hot day as you get pretty drenched on these jetboat rides. We are going with another family who has a daughter in david's class. in fact, they were "an item" in 4th grade, but now are just good friends. She's a tomboy type - loves sports and activities - so her and David get along well. He doesn't like the drama-type girls and she is definitely not one of those. In fact, she prefers hanging out with boys because she even admits girls are too drama-filled. gotta love a young girl like that!

I did a KS special since we have virtually the exact same weather right now. 88° with a 73 dewpoint

Went out to the state park for an hour of single track and hills. Kept the pace reasonable and beat the bugs back with a

branch of leaves while listening to AC/DC the whole time. Very enjoyable run.

Another great tempo Mike

Good runnin', Rip!

Hi TW, Tamster, and Mike!

7 miles total tonight in 90+% humidity. 2.5 mile w/u to the track, 4X400 m at around 5K pace or a bit faster in the middle, 200m light jog recoveries between, 2.5 miles back, trying not to get left behind on the trail. There was a track team there doing some plyometrics and 150m sprints.... wow .....they all looked like a bunch of young gazelles.... What a joy to watch!
