As I was out early for a run, before it gets too hot (forecast for high 80's today), I will kick the day off. Managed a new route today, with a little bit less traffic and a small park to run through, although still 95% concrete/asphalt. When I got back and measure it out with Gmaps Pedometer it was still only 4.25 Km, the same as another local run I have, maybe I can combine the two and make a longer one in time. I ran at around 5:30 pace (that's per Km of course), and am still feeling tired after 20 minutes running, even at this pace.

I promise to get into everyone elses running over the next few weeks, and appreciate all the encouragement comments from you guys - I'll be taking notice of everyone, and have even managed to post my monthly, minimal, mileage on the monthly thread.

The group ride I had planned on yesterday after work was a bit of a bust, and it was chilly, but today the sun is out and I had a lovely ride at lunch. http://connect.garmin.com/activity/76371634 That part running north and south is a relatively new rails-to-trail. Paul, next time I'll stop in at your job and see if you keep any chocolate milk in the lab. Just kidding but that sounded really good after fighting the wind coming back in.

Sorry, no chocolate milk in the lab. I've never ridden that trail. I'll have to put it on the list for this summer.

reporting in: I'm sticking with my game plan for the week, so it was a brief 3-miler for me tonight.

I really don't want to say this out loud but I fear that my bursitis has flared up. I want to pretend it's not and see how the next week goes, but denial hasn't worked out too well this week. I may have to resort to taking a few days off to get it under control and then go to every-other-day running for a while.
