Ok, last week I slammed on my brakes and gave myself whiplash. Couldn't work-out. Finally back to working-out this week. This morning I wake up with a scratched cornea. Eye doctor says no swimming.
So I'm just waiting for #3 to strike. Since I'm unable to wear my contacts, I'll probably run into a wall or something.

My bad luck runneth over.

I watched Hee-Haw as a kid growing up, so that brings back memories:
"Gloom, despair and agony on me
Deep dark depression, excessive misery
If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all!
Gloom, despair and agony on me"
Shake it off, Kimber - think positive thoughts!!

I have no idea. The prevailing theory is the fans in the bedroom dried out my eyes. Something must have blown into my eye, I rubbed my eye and bingo. 2 scratches on my cornea.

Here's the irony. My job directly involves corneas. I'm the person who removes the cornea from the donor (yes, the donor is dead) in order to provide corneas for cornea transplants.
Go figure.

Beth, I remember that little ditty. I can't believe you remembered all the words, lol.
